A nice breakfast in a nice dining room served by nice staff. I liked the staff, everybody was very nice, friendly, helpful. The owner let us park in his own driveway 300 yards from the hotel.

The stairs could have been a bit more user friendly, especially when bringing up the luggage. But then again, it was an integral part of the ambiance of the place.

The owner and his assistant were so welcoming and so helpful. We were able to leave our bags early and the owner even dropped us off at the train station . Fantastic place. Close to town

Hard to find anything ..

The location is great. The rooms is clean. Bed is quite comfortable. Even without a fan, the room is not too hot, I stayed for 1 night on the 25th of July in the summer. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and happy to help. It was also quiet at night. There is air freshener in the bathroom/toilet, which I haven’t seen in other hotels before.

Be warned that there is no elevator in the property, and the stairs are quite small and steep. Check in is at 3 pm. About 7 people including myself, arrived at the property about 15 mins before 3 but the door was locked and we were standing outside in the heat. So just be aware that they won’t let you in any earlier, not even 10 mins. I was particularly disappointed about the toiletries. I traveled alone, but my booking is for 2 people. I was given a 7 mL sachet of body wash and shampoo for my overnight stay. I’m a 30 year old woman, standing 167 cm. The 7 mL of body wash was not enough to even wash my one arm. I was also given 1 bath towel, no hand towel. Which I haven’t seen before. The said towel had a fould smell, which I can only describe as it smelt like the towel had been washed with rags or bathmats. Because it smelled like bath mats or rags. Anyway luckily my skin didn’t react to it. The bathroom also had the same funny smell. It was tolerable but you can definitely smell it when you are inside. The breakfast was on a schedule, and there was a time limit of 45 mins as well. I felt like the food was rationed poorly, there is a small buffet table. For sweets, there was a plate of fruits, one banana was there, cut in half. There was about 10 people in that dining room at breakfast. And I wanted to eat a banana, and I felt like I could only eat half, because if I took both halves it would be greedy of me. They serve you a plate when you arrive, photo attached. I wanted more ham because I don’t eat cucumber or the cheese served on the plate. When I asked for more, they were more than happy to give it to me, which was nice. I get that they probably did not want to waste food. But for the price I paid I think there should have been more food available.
