Pension Zámecká Apartmá - Castle Apartments

It’s at a great location in old town. It’s really spacious and perfect for a family. It was exceptionally clean as well.

There was no housekeeping despite the fact that as per instructions in the room we left a sign to make our room before 11am. There is no mirror other than in the bathroom. We were told initially that there is a parking garage 100 m away but were told only at the time of booking the parking slot that it would be unavailable due to a town festival. That meant hauling luggage all the way. Not pleasant. Lastly, we didn’t know that despite living in the city, we would need tickets to the festival to access our own rooms! It sounded ridiculous. Security told us accommodations usually provide QR codes for discounted tickets but we were not informed of any of this.

Close proximity to the castle, Main Street, shops and restaurants.

Very hot. Needs aircon.

Soap and shampoo still in little plastic bags

Location, unbeatable, close to parking. ( used nearest car park 300m away not property parking, so 24hr access) Room, Large, with comfortable bed. Large easily accessible bathroom, Bright with good views.

Needs repairs. Some lights not working, knobs from draws missing, leak in bathroom needing to empty container. With old floor boards, part of the character, difficult to clean, alot of dust, residues from previous guests, crumbs, old food in fridge, cobwebs in corners. Unfortunately or fortunately one of the most popular bars is downstairs, on Fri night was buzzing until 2am. Noisy! One extra point. We were told if we didn't add an arrival time by 5pm our booking, already paid in full, would be cancelled. This is NOT legal according to booking, and was not appreciated.
