Great location

Location, room was clean and offered a lot of space, historic building. The child was happy about curtain room dividers. 2 min by foot to the cafe with breakfast.

Since the location is directly under the castle and there are restaurants nearby, it can be noisy until the very late evening. The building is historic, hence old, so in case the neighbours are loud - you might hear footsteps above or loud voices on the stairs.

Finally a hotel that understands hospitality. Friendly staff who help carry you luggage up and down the stairs and outside up the stairs to the taxi! The room was spotless clean, cozy and quaint. I arrived at 10.30 to drop my luggage and they actually let me check in bc the room was ready. So nice! Great room amenities: shampoo, face wash, body wash, cotton buds, coffee and tea. Puffed up pillows with local candy on them. Loved staying here, thank you to the staff.

Linens could use an update.

The place is centrally located in the old town, with a nice view from the windows, and I liked the design of the attic space. The hosts were also responsive and nice, which makes this poor review tough.

Unfortunately, there must have been some mix-up, and I had to reach out for the final information (code) to enter the property. But to make things worse, the information provided was inaccurate (probably old), leading to confusion in the rain. The rain was a compounding issue of almost all the problems with my stay. Not only was it coming down pretty good when I was left trying to figure out the inaccurate instructions and then message the host, but it seemed to draw out ants. I saw some in the bathroom the night I arrived but didn't message the host about them until the morning, when I woke up to some crawling on me. They came up to the room right away with spray and a trap and scheduled with me when I'd be out for them to come back and do the spraying. It helped, but I did still see ants throughout my stay. The refrigerator was off when I arrived, and the dial to set it was hard to see and spun continuously, so I had no idea when it would be on or not (it's also silent, which would normally be a good thing). Lastly, the entry door to the room is miniature with a slope just outside, making entry and exit quite annoying. I hit my head a few times reaching back to grab the handle to close the door as I left.
