We visited during a 30°C heatwave and the room was unbearably hot — worse than any sauna I have ever been in. It was genuinely the hottest indoor space I have ever experienced. There was one fan, but it did nothing — it just moved hot air around. We could not sleep at night and could not stay inside for more than a few minutes during the day. Outside in the direct sun was significantly cooler. We even noticed our neighbor doing the same thing — leaving their door wide open for air — so we knew it wasn't just us. It got so bad that I seriously considered sleeping in the bathroom with cold water running over me. That is not an exaggeration. This is a serious issue in summer. If you are sensitive to heat, I would avoid booking this room during warm months unless you confirm there is proper air conditioning — because a single fan is not enough. Disclaimer: We booked the cheapest and smallest room available. It is possible that larger or more expensive rooms have better ventilation or air conditioning. This review reflects our experience in that specific room.

I loved the climate of old castle buildings ( the ceiling is great). Apartament is really close to the castle in beautiful surroundings, close to great shops and restaurants. It was clean, and the size of the room was enough. Contact with the owner was perfect and we've got really good breakfast. I really recommend the apartment (small tip - better souvenir stores are close to castle than on the other side of an old town)

I think walls between rooms/ common area were thin. We heard some noises from outside, but this was a minor issue.

The room is very small, the beds are tiny and one single one was stuck between the roof and a piece of furniture that couldn't be moved so it feels very claustrophobic and could sleep well at all unfortunately. I suggest swapping the bed with the piece of furniture. The double bed is quite short so your feet touch the scorching heaters attached to the bed, not very comfortable at all.
