The location was perfect for exploring the city, but still quiet! Close to the Bolhao market and great dining and shopping. The apartment had a ton of space, and it was clean and very pretty. There were robes/slippers for each guest and plenty of towels. There was a washing machine, which wasn't advertised. Great heating & a/c. Appreciated the wine.
We felt that the designer was thinking about aesthetics but not practicalities. The water heater is way too small for an apartment that sleeps this many! We only had about 15 minutes of hot water every morning. One of the bathrooms had basically no space for setting toiletries. All bathrooms need a soap dish, a hook for a hand towel, and a few more hooks for bath towels (since it sleeps so many). The kitchen didn't have any utensils and the microwave did not work (& we did read the instructions). There wasn't an iron (only ironing board) but when we requested one, they brought one. It would have been much nicer to put the mop, ironing board, and drying rack out of sight - not in the bathroom. The place has a crazy amount of storage but no traveler would ever need that much storage, so it just felt like wasted space. I wished they provided tissues and paper towels, and extra pillows.

Everyday the apartment was cleaned and fresh towels supplied. Filipa our host was amazing with any questions and to make us feel at home. No question was to small or to big. Location was amazing

Apartment is very spacious, amazing location. Good sized kitchen for everything. Powerful shower.
Host met us easy and door codes to get into the building which was nice.
Only downside was that it was quite noisy by the road, but we got used to it at night and loved the location so were happy to put up with it for that reason.
