D'Autor Apartments Sá da Bandeira

The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. We wish we could give the apartment more than 10 stars! The Bolhao market is on the next block (less than a 5 minute walk) and other sites are within walking distance. We were in the one bedroom apartment which also had a loft. There was an AC unit in the main living area and another one in the bedroom. The dishwasher and washing machine came in handy. The apartment building has an elevator which was convenient. The staff was helpful and friendly. We were able to leave our bags with the staff until the check in time. Also, the housekeeping staff serviced the room each day which we’ve never experienced when we’ve stayed in an apartment. This apartment was one of our favorite spots to stay at during our travels. If you have a chance to book this spot, you should definitely take advantage of the value and comfort you’ll get from staying here.

The only suggestion we would have to improve the stay is to add more kitchen items like a skillet and kitchenware. Not sure if prior guests took some items or broke some items, but it was a minor issue since we mainly used the kitchen to fix breakfast. The positive things about this property outweigh the missing kitchen items especially if you’re planning to eat out for all your meals.

Great location a couple of blocks from Bolhao Market. Tip: Go have a drink and snack at the market in the afternoon along with a lot of locals. Great area close to a lot of good restaurants and shops. Very comfortable apartment with daily cleaning. Our apartment faced onto the street but with the double glazed windows the sound was mostly subdued, apart from the odd siren.

The washing machine could have been a washer/dryer. But there is a clothes rack that fits on the balcony, with a little juggling.

Close to everything. Quiet Clean . Wonderful neigborhood.

Beautiful apartment in a great location. Would definitely stay here again!
