Marcel, his wife and the staff run a beautiful oasis in Padangbai - high in the lush jungles. To know it was built by hand and so many beautiful details considered from ornate balcony decorations and mosaics, lovely breakfast, turtle sanctuary, AMAZING views (the sunrise!! 🙌) to a beautiful plunge pool and great hospitality. It has a very rustic vibe and excellent value for money.
That we had to leave after one night.

I only stayed one night as I’d arrived from the airport and was catching the fast boat the next morning. The room was lovely; tastefully decorated, comfortable bed and a view of the harbour through the trees. The owner was friendly and helpful in ordering me a taxi to the harbour and the staff were nice too.
Nothing :)

The balcony views were excellent , there was a lot of harmony. Marcel and Manouria were extremely kind. The room was truly decorated as a balines style.
The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast was super yummy. Just 10 minutes walking to the centre and to the harbour.
Nothing.
