Owners Helen and Simon offer you excellent comfortable stay with a great full English breakfast, should you require other items eg omelette etc, they are only to happy to meet your requests. At a wonderful price,if you are in the Chippenham area you would be foolish not to book in at this beautiful country pub. If you don't you would miss a real gem.
That we we were not staying longer.

I appreciate that they helped me with all the requests i had.
I was a bit cold at first, but they they brought me an electric radiator and it fixed the problem.

The room was simple but clean. The en suite was very clean and well-equipped. The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive. We had been warned that they could not provide evening meals temporarily but the breakfast was very good. This is a friendly village pub with rooms which the owner is working hard to revive, and we were happy to support them.

Location good for our stay
The bed mattress very thin poor quality with an equally poor quality topper to try and rectify this. Metal bed frame which was very noisy with every little movement we did not sleep at all.
