The location was excellent, right in the middle of town with easy access to amenities.
Parking at the hotel was easy, although I don’t think guests should be charged for parking when other people can visit the hotel and get 12 hours of free parking. Furthermore, I think parking should be included for hotel guests, especially as there is parking on site.
The reception staff were lovely, friendly and approachable.
The hotel room was really spacious and perfect for a family, especially with a small child who likes to run around!
We loved having use of the pool, and breakfast was good. We also ate at the hotel when we arrived, and there were plenty of options, including a children’s menu.
Another big plus was the family area, which had a sofa and chairs, a TV and toys. It was absolutely ideal when you have a little one.
We checked in at 6pm and didn’t leave until 3pm the following day, as there was plenty to keep us busy in the hotel. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Chippenham easy walking distance to the attractions in the town center. The staff were on the whole friendly and helpful, we had a small gathering before and after our small wedding. They looked after our group very well and were attentive and helpful in arranging seating next to air con etc as it was a very hot day. The only draw back was that check in was at 3pm regardless, I tried to check in at 2.30pm and explained I was the groom at a wedding at 3pm, but they were steadfast that I checked in later. Obviously the hotel is an older a buiding in the main area, so we didnt have air-con in the room. Overall 4 out of 5.

Chippenham used to be such a lovely market town but now it’s just like many other towns , lots of closed shops , nail bars and run of the mill pubs
