I stayed with my two children, one of whom uses a wheelchair, and the staff were very, very helpful, understanding and accommodating throughout our stay. The room itself was amazing, and although there were only a few stairs, they did cause some difficulty because of the wheelchair. It was disappointing that the hotel didn’t have a family accessible room, as this would have made our stay much easier and more comfortable. I really feel that having a dedicated family accessible room would be a great addition to the hotel and would make a big difference for families with children who use wheelchairs.

The location was excellent, right in the middle of town with easy access to amenities.
Parking at the hotel was easy, although I don’t think guests should be charged for parking when other people can visit the hotel and get 12 hours of free parking. Furthermore, I think parking should be included for hotel guests, especially as there is parking on site.
The reception staff were lovely, friendly and approachable.
The hotel room was really spacious and perfect for a family, especially with a small child who likes to run around!
We loved having use of the pool, and breakfast was good. We also ate at the hotel when we arrived, and there were plenty of options, including a children’s menu.
Another big plus was the family area, which had a sofa and chairs, a TV and toys. It was absolutely ideal when you have a little one.
We checked in at 6pm and didn’t leave until 3pm the following day, as there was plenty to keep us busy in the hotel. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Chippenham used to be such a lovely market town but now it’s just like many other towns , lots of closed shops , nail bars and run of the mill pubs
