Superb

We had a WONDERFUL time here. We love the classic rooms, the timeless furnitures and decorations and Rafaelo is just the kindest, knowledgable and most helpful host with wonderful tips ánd stories. And older house like this does have some technical issues, but for us none that took away from the pleasure of staying here. Breakfast made personally by Rafaelo was absolutely great, lots of different things and most importantly; EXCELLENT coffee :-D Highly recommended

A truly authentic Italian experience

I chose Villa Margherita as I was looking for something authentic and affordable. I was not disappointed. Set in a beautiful garden, surrounded by shady palms, trees and flowers, the Villa is a step back in time; retaining many early 20th century features and antique furniture, making each room unique. Best of all is the wonderful host Raffaelo who was a gracious and kind with very good local advice on places to visit. His breakfasts that were prepared with great care were delicious and served to me every morning in the garden under a lemon tree.. it was all just delightful and perfect for a solo traveller like me. I would happily stay here again. 🇮🇹

There was nothing about the Villa I did not like - where some people may have preferred air con and tv in their rooms, I was happy with the authenticity the premises offered. It was wonderful.

Chambre situee au 2eme etage. Barre de maintien de tapis dans l escalier décrochée Chambre et salle de bain sans chauffage Forte odeur d humidite Nous ne sommes pas resté une seule nuit car excessivement déçu de la prestation Et en plus tarif très cher pour la prestation soi disant authentique

Wunderschön und sehr individuell.

Frühstück ab 9 Uhr, wobei Raffaelo auch gerne individuell flexibel war. Brötchen gewöhnungsbedürftig, ansonsten super schön im etwas verwilderten aber vielfältigen Garten mit altem Baumbestand und vielen Rosen angerichtet. Der wunderbare Obstsalat war liebevoll zubereitet. Die Villa hat Charme und bringt Ruhe und Erholung und zwingt fast zum Abschalten. Denn kein TV ...und WLAN nicht überall....und die Uhren scheinen etwas zurückgedreht. Raffaelo ist ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber mit dem wir uns sehr angenehm auf deutsch unterhalten konnten ,der uns die Historie der Villa bereitwillig erläuterte und der gerne auch tolle Tipps für Ausflüge parat hatte. Wir hatten das Zimmer mit der großen Terrasse und fühlten uns mit den alten Möbeln aber guter neuer Matratze sehr wohl. Ein Kiesel- Badestrand ist nur 2min. zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Villa befindet sich in einem Wohngebiet und somit von Tourismustrubel nicht berührt.

Wenn man früh mit Touren starten will, dann ist ein Frühstück erst ab 9 Uhr...was sich dann durchaus auch bis 10 Uhr ausdehnt, etwas spät. Aber einerseits ist das wunderbar zum Entschleunigen und wenn wirklich mal erforderlich, bekamen wir auch ein früheres Frühstück. Also nicht wirklich ein Problem.
