Exceptional
The barn is beautiful and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Clean, bright and airy. Love that it has its own garden and is dog friendly although we didn't take our dog, it is good for future visits It is ideal as it's all one level and has a separate shower to the bath.
Nothing to say about the accommodation as it was lovely. However I would say that Criccieth itself is very quiet and has no real places to eat and the same goes for the two nearest towns. This meant we had to cook more often than I would have liked.

the lack of attention to detail. beds not at all comfortable and bedding/ pillows a bit cheap and nasty . we came home a day early cos I couldn't face another night in that bed ! lack of 'home comforts' eg hair dryer . radio. clock. the barn is a beautiful space but very Spartan in feel. some colourful artwork/cushions/throws would make the space warmer and more homely and take the accommodation from OK to lovely . . the very small TV should be in bedroom and a decent size TV in the living area .
the space is lovely the host was very responsive when I asked for a non slip shower/bath mat adequately equipped kitchen but I am am always disappointed when there are no washing up cloths or washing up liquid provided. just feels a bit mean !
