Loved it. Resented having to leave.
We loved the apartment. It was clean, airy and modern with wonderful views over the bay and a beach across the quiet road in front of the building...We even saw Dolphins one afternoon. We didn't want to come home, so I guess that's as strong an endorsement as any! Criccieth is a quiet, lovely place with a couple of restaurants and a few simple local amenities and plenty of excellent ice cream. Porthmadog is less than a 10 minute drive away with all the shops and bustle you need to stock the fridge etc We found so much to do in the local area, including climbing Snowdon and visiting Portmeirion, with incredible beaches, countryside and castles all within reasonable distance
These are just feedback notes...We had a wonderful time and would wholeheartedly recommend the property The lack of blinds on the skylight in the single room was a problem, as well as the very translucent curtains throughout. Unfortunately had to go to the local Tesco's and buy some card and blue tac to cover the window for a good nights sleep In the same regard, some kind of blind would be a benefit in the bathroom, overlooked by nearby neighbours, where privacy could be an issue The fridge didn't seem to be all that cold and it would be great to have a few more kitchen bits and bobs, particularly coffee making facilities (even just a cafetiere) would be a plus
