Beautiful, cozy, and warm house! Landlord is very kind and friendly, helped to provide all needed information. Within 10 min walk distance has convenient store, restaurant (sushi, ramen, pizza). Environment is peaceful and quiet. We were all amazed by Mako land’s interior and collection, super cute :)
Location will be more convenient for travelers with car. If you dont, bus stop is within 5 min walk distance, still easy to access.

A spacious house all to ourselves, with a garden of flowers and trees. The house felt like home. Our host was so friendly and full of smiles, and also generous and organised, providing everything we might want. A great spot for exploring the coast and the mountains, including the fabulous Kurobe Gorge Railway. A wonderful week in Toyama.

The design was so cute and authentic. It really didn’t feel like we were in Japan at all, it felt like we were home in America. The floors were warm which was great and the washer worked so quickly. Beds were comfortable and walls were soundproof. They even gave us free fruit!
It wasn’t terribly dirty, but the shower could’ve used a quick scrub-down. Also the front windows could benefit from a curtain.

Het bed was comfortabel
De locatie was vies. Overal stof en op de eettafel een kerkhof van dode vliegjes. Duidelijk niet goed schoon gemaakt.
Cash betalen zonder enig bewijs van betaling is niet oké. De eigenaar vroeg 18.000 yen. We moesten hem er op wijzen dat we de locatie voor 16.000 yen hadden geboekt. Niet zo netjes.
