Ikarian Centre - Accommodation & mountain hiking

The place was amazing! Great views of the Aegian sea and the surrounding hills. A nice place under the shade of magnificent trees for your breakfast, lunch or just a coffee full of colors and flower fragrances (shared). The rooms not luxury but clean and with all the basics. 5 minutes from Arethusa an nearby village with two great tavernas and a nice stone wall church. 10 minutes by car from Karavostamo a typical Ikarian village with everything you need. The hosts were great! There was a small library free for everyone to work or read. If you are looking for peace of mind, nice hosts, great views and relaxation, this is the place.

Overall there wasn't something that bothered me. Maybe the road was kind of difficult, needed extra cautiousness.

The view from the property was incredible

There was a certain smoke smell in the room

I loved the place, but this is not a place for everyone, because it is far away and a bit isolated, but there lies its beauty, I could rest and sleep well, surrounded by nature. Kudos to Michalis, Grigoris and all the team!

You definitely want a car, or a motorbike, or a taxi or other means of transport while you're staying there in order to explore the island a bit!
