Kleopatra's House

Sophia is a perfect host and she made us feel like home in Karavostamo. This is an authentic and local village where you can find smiling faces, delicious sea food and fantastic wine. Sophia had thoght about every beautiful details at home and we stayed there without any needs except our personal belongings. She is so friendly, so tasty! We liked to have dinner in Maduvala tavern, to dance in a traditional panagiri in the town and to have chat with Sophia, her lovely mother and sister. On our way back home we are already making our next year plan on this incredible island IKARIA. ❤️🙏💙

Nothing except leaving

The host was absolutely fantastic. She was welcoming and very generous, stocking the home with water bottles and coffee. The home was very cute and authentic. Bathrooms are updated and air conditioning works great. Location is just a short walk from everything you could ever need. Beach and restaurants were lovely, but most importantly, everyone in the village were the nicest and most welcoming people. Will visit again one day!

Everything was perfect

We had the most wonderful time during our 9-day stay at Kleopatra house. The house is centrally located in Karavostamo, just a short walk to restaurants and the sea. It was quiet and peaceful, and the house was spotlessly clean and so comfortable. It has a huge and very comfy bed, two beautiful bathrooms with modern and hot showers, and air conditioning on both floors— also the WiFi was super fast. Sofia was an incredible hostess – the house had everything we could imagine needing during our vacation (beach towels, toiletries, breakfast food, espresso pods, and a wonderful welcome basket full of delicious Ikarian snacks). We are already planning to return to Kleopatra house, and we’d recommend the place to anyone vacationing in Ikaria.
