Seagulls' House

Location was excellent. Sophia was such a wonderful host. So welcoming and warm. Seagull house was so clean with a wonderful roof top terrace to the view the sunset. The bed was super comfortable too There is a cafe/restaurant below that is open till late. It was always nice sound of people chatting and playing backgammon.

Nothing not to like

Der Aufenthalt im "seagulls house“ war einmalig. Wir wurden mit so einer Herzlichkeit und Großzügigkeit begrüßt und sogar von der Fähre abgeholt. Wir fühlten uns von Anfang an willkommen. Sofia ist eine absolut liebenswerte Gastgeberin wie Sie es nur selten gibt. Am Ende der Reise kannten wir fast die ganze Familie - es war Herzlich. Das Apartment ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bietet alles was man für einen Urlaub benötigt. Die Dachterrasse ist einmalig mit Blick aufs Meer und den Sonnenuntergang. Das Rauschen der Wellen immer zu hören. Auch ein kleiner geschützter Strand ist in laufweite. Das Haus befindet sich in der Nähe des kleinen Marktplatze eines sehr ursprünglichen Inseldorfes. Alles ist leicht zu erreichen. Einmalige Bäckerei, kleiner Supermarkt, Taverne und Fischgrill in Laufweite - was will man mehr? Wer das ursprüngliche Griechische Inselleben genießen möchte sollte hier herkommen. Wir werden es auf jeden Fall noch einmal versuchen. Danke!

Εξαιρετική διακόσμηση και ποιότητα κατασκευής, σε έναν άνετο χώρο στην πλατεία του χωριού. Το διαμέρισμα διέθετε όλες τις ανέσεις και τις συσκευές που μπορεί κάποιος να φανταστεί. Η εξαιρετική οικοδέσποινα κυρία Σοφία απ την πρώτη στιγμή μας ξενάγησε στον χώρο και μας έδωσε πληροφορίες για το χωριό και την Ικαρία γενικότερα. Ήπιαμε το κρασί που μας κέρασε βλέποντας το ηλιοβασίλεμα στην υπέροχη ταράτσα του διαμερίσματος.

The house is a little gem: completely renovated with taste, clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The kitchen is perfectly equipped with accessories and appliances. The bed is extremely comfortable, and the linens are spotless and plentiful. The terrace is simply spectacular. The location in the village is also perfect: Karavostamo is small but full of life, with bars, restaurants, grocery stores, and a lovely bakery. The host Sofia is adorable: helpful, kind, and wonderful. Our stay was a dream.
