Most of all the position and the cleanliness.
A little difficult to find. The doorbell is within a group of doorbells for all the apartments in the building. They are located quite high on the door frame and rather difficult for old eyes to read.

Metxe is an exceptional host. We felt instantly at home. The entire place was spotless and well thought out. The location is superb. We are walking the Camino del Norte and she was able to help us with a few pilgrim specific things.
It’s probably not usually a problem, but we were there on and extremely hot and humid day. There is no air conditioning and although the fan in our room was very helpful, it just couldn’t cool the room enough because the air outside stayed very hot all night.

This was a great central location for our short stay in San Sebastian. Mertxe greeted us at the accom, giving us a brief tour of the place and some great recommendations before we settled in. There were plenty of food spots around and a short trip from La Concha beach and the bus station. The balcony was perfect to enjoy the sights and sounds of the place as well.
It would have been ideal to have air-conditioning in the room to deal with the heat - but the fan provided was sufficient.
