Extra positive energy and a lot of work to do
Although the location has a very special feeling of positive energy, some simple things could go better. Exterior: The cement made BBQ stands ugly, as no one had the inspiration to dress it with stones or something. There was no gardening before our arrival, a lot of leaves, dirt paths, empty vases. Many broken decoration parts still stand around. Interior: We are in 2022 and some people still ask for extra money for linen. As I frequent traveller, I wrote before to have ready my bed but no, It wasn't. They came after 5 minutes just to drop the linen without getting the bed ready. Marketing disaster. On our first visit to the bathroom, we discover that there were no towels as well. Again call, back again with the towels. As you can imagine, there are no bath amenities provided so be aware and brink yours. The chalet has the wrong floor, which is built with extra cold tiles. I understand that they may like it but, in the name of God, put a carpet on. It's simply impossible to stay barefoot. A very clever addition would be a wooden stove. Service: This chalet follows the new completely stupid policy of check-in at 16 - check out at 10. Notice that we are talking about barely 50sm and some 2 hours of cleaning, out of the season. Not only 2 hours between check in - check out is enough, but even if it's not, there are many ways to get through: You can easily set a 14:00 in - 12:00 out policy and if your guest comes early, just give him a drink at your beautiful garden. Speaking of drinks, there was nothing to offer upon arrival, not even a bottle of water in the fridge nor even some flowers in the vase. On my visits to similar chalets in Ardennes, I am used to being treated with excellent Belgian beers for a real warm welcome. At least there was a real person to greet us and give us the keys in hand, which was nice. And guys, there is no need for this e-mail storm about vouchers and directions: Your address is first table on google maps!

Het huisje was heel gezellig ingericht
Het was niet kraaknet, vb. Stofdraden in de hoeken aan het plafond, veel kalkafzetting in de douche en de waterkoker, de ijskast was niet echt proper. Servies en pannen waren aan vervanging toe.

Emplacement superbe. Chalet bien agencé.
Mal signalé. Communication difficile via réponse automatisée. Arrivée tardive refusée plusieurs fois alors qu’il y a un boîtier à clés. Coupure de courant en pleine nuit… pas de linge de lit compris dans le prix. Pas de lampe de chevet. Sdb mal éclairée. Pas de lave-vaisselle.
