Tottle Bank

Lovely house. Easy parking, good location, easy walk in to centre. Property description was spot on. Kitchen very well equipped. Beds comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay.

General cleanliness was good. However, a bin in one bedroom wasn't emptied, there was a pair of tights left on a radiator, one towel clean but very stained and there was mud and leaves by the fire door. Reported by email, no reply received. Not a reason to not stay here, but cleaners need to be a bit more thorough and hosts need to be more responsive. We also requested a late check in as we were travelling late. Request received one word answer "Rejected". That put us under pressure as the M6 was closed! Rejection was completely unnecessary as we turned up very late, no problem at all. Key was in key safe, we let ourselves in, no issues. So, no need for the rejected request!

Nice location, short walk down to Ambleside.

Property is a little tired. Parking very tight if the neighbours are parked up too!

Three levels and two bathroom made it very spacious. Perfect location as 10 minute walk from town centre.

After a long season it could probably have done with a deeper clean than the few hours between let's. Possibly short of hand soaps.

It was well equipped, spacious and had car parking. It was also well located and within walking distance of Ambleside.
