Fantastic.

We have stayed before, but another ( small ) flight of steps. As my mobility problems have worstened, we went for the one just below, with only a few steps. This apartment was as good as the previous one, all the better for a summer stay with the lovely patio doors. Everything fabulous, as the previous one. Thanks again to the owners. ( very helpful and everything re the booking is very straight foreward) Could not be more central, just off the main square, yet exeptionally quiet and peacefull, Would very highly recommend to others.

Excellent place to stay in central Arras

Wonderful location down a tiled corridor off the Place des Heroes. Easy access with a door code from the square and another to access the room. The room was very comfortable and well thought out with a WC separate from the bathroom and a washing machine in another separate room. Despite being on the square it is completely quiet even on a Friday night when the square was buzzing. Big Saturday market. Underground car park in the adjoining Grand Place

Great apartment,great location

We have stayed in these apartments before and liked it so much we came back! Small but very comfortable apartment with kitchen and sitting area. Immaculately clean throughout with a very comfortable and large bed. The room has everything you need for a short stay . The location is fantastic, right off of Place des Heros but very quiet . Lots of cafes, bars and restaurants right outside . Clear instructions for entry.

My only suggestion is that hosts maybe consider outside furniture. We rented apartment number 4 which has a small terrace, but there were no outside chairs to sit in the lovely weather. Just a suggestion as everything else was perfect

Great place and location, too bad there's no parking

The modern design. With the upstairs downstairs layout.

no parking, Normally no parking wouldn't be a problem as I've rented places before without parking but there was plenty of street and lots available. This location of Arras parking was very difficult to find nearby. One parking lot is closed which has created a larger problem. The best we could find was a 15 walk from our apartment. And that took us 20 mins of driving around to find.

Excellent location in lovely Arras

Location of the apartment was superb, right on Place des Heros and close to cafes, shops, Tourist Office, two supermarkets, markets, and most sights. However still quiet as it is down a passage at the back. The apartment was clean, bed was comfortable, good shower, well equipped kitchen and the washing machine worked well. It was cold while we were there but the apartment stayed warm. Good communication from owners and we had the access codes before we travelled which is always reassuring.

Wifi was very intermittent downstairs, especially at the dining table. Stairs to the bedroom are steep and require care.

Lovely comfortable apartment

The placement of the apartment (number 6) was superb. It was on the main square but quiet as tucked behind the main buildings. The bathroom was great. The shower was lovely. The kitchen area was basic but fine with just a hob, no oven, and a fridge with a small freezer. There was a washing machine, iron, and ironing board, too. Cutlery and crockery were provided. The bed was really comfortable with really good quality and oh so wonderful pillows. Everything was really clean and tidy. We'd definitely stay here again if we came back to Arras. It was a lovely apartment :)

We stayed during some atrocious weather (storm Cieran). There was a reed summer blind in the kitchen window that needed removal as we had to get up in the night 3 times to stop it from banging on the side of the building. The Internet WiFi didn't work very well. Probably due to the weather. Impossible for netflix on the TV and the only channels that worked on normal TV were french (obviously as we're in France) so that was a shame as we were stuck in due to the weather. We didn't bother the hosts as the weather was so bad that we didn't want them to have to come out in the storm.

Very good.

Well-appointed and in very good condition. Ideally located in the main square, with restaurants and bars literally on the doorstep - the whole square is very alive in the evenings - but despite this the apartment itself is very quiet.

Would have said 'excellent' rather than 'good' if it were not for the awkward instruction that guests must take all their trash away with them. Also, entry on arrival requires knowing two entry codes which are not obtainable except by email on the day or day before arrival.

The apartment was great... until Saturday night. The "Au Bureau" pub/club is RIGHT THROUGH THE WALL! We had loud music until closing time at about 1:20am, then the volume went down for a while. Then, presumably once all the customers had left, the loud music was back until after 2am, while the staff cleaned up.

Our 5th stay at this excellent appartement. Thus you will not be surprised that we give it the highest score! We will certainly return.

Not really a criticism but the owners do send many duplicate mails that have a great deal of information before one's arrival. Probably automated but it feels rather too much. However easily deleted and it doesn't stop our choice to return repeatedly.

Amazing accommodation in Arras

The location was perfect. Right on the old town square, near the cathedral. Beautiful buildings surrounded us. Plenty of restaurants, supermarkets and shops. Very close to train station. The apartment was very clean and well appointed including cooking facilities, laundry, and Netflix. It was beautifully presented with coffee and tea, and a little biscuit and chocolates on arrival. The apartment was very quiet and dark for sleeping. They set up a whole town market on our last day and we didn't hear a thing. The bed was comfy too. The hosts were lovely. Very efficient and accommodating and the check in process was stress free. If you want to visit Arras or the WW1 battlefields or anywhere else in. This area we totally recommend this accommodation. It was also extremely well priced. If you want to party or are noisy please leave this accommodation for people who want some serenity and an oasis away from home.
