A good location right on the Grand Place. The room that we had was spacious and comfortable.
The kitchen area didn’t seem particularly clean in our room but fortunately we didn’t need to use it. The stairwells, carpets and corridors really need updating and cleaning which is off putting and the rooms could do with a degree of modernising. The restaurant on the ground floor is beautifully decorated and so hopefully the rooms will follow soon. We tried to eat in the restaurant but were told it was fully booked. When we walked through it on our way out it was not even 1/3 full and an hour and a half later on at our return it was even less full which felt somewhat strange. It was also irritating as we were only there for one night between two long drives and were keen to eat there given how convenient it was. It also seemed odd that a few tables weren’t reserved for hotel guests.
