Good stay after we purchased some basic things (hooks, shower mat) to make the room functional/safe.

Very pleasant and friendly staff and excellent (if a bit noisy) location.

The staff are lovely, and the location is great. There were a few things about the room - first of all, the room was not as clean as we expected (toilet - yuck) and area around sink in kitchen. A few basic things would really add to the comfort - an over-the-sink dishrack in the kitchen to dry dishes, some hangers in the closet (there were only 2 flimsy ones); some hooks at the front door to hang coats on - there's a place for them but no hooks. Also, need hooks in the bathroom to hang wet towels (we ended up buying some "portable ones" as there was zero place to hang wet towels. And the shower is slippery and treacherous because there is no shower mat - we actually went and bought one because the chance of an accident on a slippery, wet floor without traction was not worth the price of a cheap rubber shower mat. These basic things (less than $100) would make everyone's stay so much more pleasant. Thank you. Again, the staff are lovely and helpful but spend just a tiny bit of money to make the room so much more comfortable.

Lovely overnight stay in the superb town of Arras.

The location is brilliant for a trip to Arras with underground car park access just opposite hotel. The suite on the top floor is comfortable and a bit quirky which is great. The rooms are clean and facilities good. Have stayed several times and suits our needs.

Not a dislike as such but the black decor up the stairs and landings are looking very tired and grubby in places. The lift only goes to floor 2 so be prepared for walking up stairs to the top.

Great location on the main square of Arras

A comfortable hotel overlooking the main square in Arras. I stayed in the deluxe apartment that overlooked to main square. When the windows are open, the room can be noisy from activities in the square. But I would stay in this room again. It was spacious and well-laid out, and I loved the view of the square, even though the town had turned much of the square into a parking lot! The reception clerk was very friendly and she spoke very good English. Arras is a charming town that warrants an overnight stay. It has a great museum of the underground tunnels that were used in World War I. Don’t miss it if you stay in Arras.

Good for our purposes.

The room was fine. The person who checked us in was wonderful. The bed was good. The Ampersand restaurant, which is on the first floor of the hotel, was quite good.

The set up was odd, but maybe just to Americans. The toilet is in a separate room but several steps from the sink. The floor of the shower was oddly soft in one spot. We didn't use the kitchen, so can't comment on that. What I think was the closet wouldn't open, but we didn't ask the concierge to fix it. We just made do. We were in Arras to visit the World War I battle site or the Somme, and that was what we were really interested in. Unfortunately, there don't appear to be a lot of restaurants in the town that aren't bars or burger joints.

Really lovely stay in a great little hotel in an excellent location!

Perfect location. Quiet in the room, really comfortable beds, very reasonable price.

The only thing we could find that wasn’t perfect was there could do with being somewhere to hang clothes, and a shelf in the shower to put shampoo etc on.

Good location, don't order the burger

Upon arrival we ordered roomservice, he had the burger. My husband got food poisoning so he did not sleep well and could not have breakfast the next morning. We are still waiting for a refund of his breakfast.

Good location in Central Arras

The hotel is centrally located, very near many bars and restaurants. The room was clean and clearly newly renovated. The breakfast was the star of the show with plenty of choice.

As there is no hotel car park, the parking is not easy and pretty expensive if you park before 6pm or not leaving until after 9am. The bathroom was not separate from the bedroom, which was a little awkward as we were staying in a room with our teenage daughter.

Convenient and friendly

Very good position. Lovely staff. Good food particularly in the restaurant in the evening.

When we there the lift was broken and we were on the 3rd floor do it was a bit of a mission to get to our room. Breakfast was in the basement so no views and then 4 flights of steep winding stairs to get back to our room. The room had no real view, and being under the eaves was hot. The shower/wet room was very poorly designed and the the room flooded every time to varying degrees.

Competent and nice gentlemen in charge. Lovely location, spacious and quiet apartment with a fridge and basic kitchen equipment. Fresh and varied breakfast.

Some parts were a bit outdated but nothing to worry about. The breakfast could possibly be served in the restaurant - the breakfast room doesn’t have windows.

Lovley room in a very french hotel with a cute blue door in the perfect location for exploring Arras.

We got confused with how the door keys worked and locked ourselves out but this was quickly resolved by the kind staff.
