Grand Place Hôtel "Boutique et Appart'hôtel"

Perfectly located within a stone throw from the centre. Plenty of parking spaces. Our initially book room had a fault so was upgraded to the deluxe suite overlooking the main square. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was modern and had a great bath.

The noise level at night from the square could be heard but could be overlooked due to all the other positives.

Stunning location, almost a hidden gem. Very friendly staff, decent English and very helpfull. Rooms were nice and comfortable beds. Easy parking right outside the door. You live right in the busy city centre, but once you’re inside the hotel and rooms, it’s super quiet!

Breakfast room was a bit strangely located in the basement, next to the shared toilettes (two separate rooms thou). There were fresh fruit, yoghurt and fine variety of bread. But the location was strange, and there was a TV turned on MTV, with totally removed the charme and tranquility vibes. Please replace with a regular speaker or radio if you want to have music, not a TV.

Very pleasant and friendly staff and excellent (if a bit noisy) location.

The staff are lovely, and the location is great. There were a few things about the room - first of all, the room was not as clean as we expected (toilet - yuck) and area around sink in kitchen. A few basic things would really add to the comfort - an over-the-sink dishrack in the kitchen to dry dishes, some hangers in the closet (there were only 2 flimsy ones); some hooks at the front door to hang coats on - there's a place for them but no hooks. Also, need hooks in the bathroom to hang wet towels (we ended up buying some "portable ones" as there was zero place to hang wet towels. And the shower is slippery and treacherous because there is no shower mat - we actually went and bought one because the chance of an accident on a slippery, wet floor without traction was not worth the price of a cheap rubber shower mat. These basic things (less than $100) would make everyone's stay so much more pleasant. Thank you. Again, the staff are lovely and helpful but spend just a tiny bit of money to make the room so much more comfortable.
