Beautiful Langebaan Villa

The location is excellent with an absolutely incredible view. The house was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the braai area which is sheltered from the wind. The host is very friendly and accommodating.

A couple of suggestions that would have taken me to a 10. Providing some body wash for the shower would have been nice, and a door stopper for the upstairs bedroom. If the wind gets in the door bangs against the frame.

Breathtaking view, well equipped!

Very narrow and steep driveway to premises and difficult to turn around , need to reverse all the way out. Sewerage smell of blocked drainage, but it’s municipal problem that’s not sorted out yet.

Beautiful surrounding, spacious, with the best views.

This place is exquisite , it is practically on the lagoon. We used bbq facilities and we had everything we needed, whilst we stayed here. A wonderful relaxing stay had and immersed in the beauty of the area. Sunsets magnificent.

We were told about the present building works, next door,, so no surprise. We were out most of the day, so not too bad.

For a quiet rejuvenating and relaxing getaway this villa is perfect

This property is a gem on the lagoon. It is spacious and comfortable with an amazing view. One immediately gets a sense of peace and tranquility on arrival

I found it a perfect getaway to connect with nature though the rest of the family would have liked seamless wifi. According to the host this is in the pipeline. Missed the hair dryer.

The couches are not comfortable at all. More than one dishcloth and a proper swab for a 4 day stay would have helped.

The place to stay in Langebaan, stunning location. Excellent use of space.

Stunning location, cannot ask for better

A mop would have been an added bonus, could not clean tile floors in kitchen. Maybe they should inform guests that they only provide a limited amount of toilet paper, especially with 6 guests staying for 4 days, and there were no dish drying cloths. I do not mind brining my own, it is just that all other self catering properties have provided this before, and I did not bring my own and would have preferred being told what to provide for myself.

Spectacular views

The house is located on a beautiful spot next to the lagoon with spectacular views out of all the windows. The one room and bathroom is upstairs and the other two rooms and bathroom downstairs, which allows for some privacy. The architecture of the house reminds one of being on a big ship.

The stairs are quite steep, be careful! The bed upstairs is perhaps better for children (my husband and I used the upstairs room and it was not really comfortable).

Everything! Exceptionally clean and tidy, quiet, tranquil. Host and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Amazing views especially of the sunsets. Perfect location - quiet and relaxing but also close to shops, restaurants etc. Will definitely recommend and be back soon!

Mattress on upstairs bed too soft, very uncomfortable. Missed having a bin in the kitchen, wasn't always convenient to go out the front door.

A piece of Paradise we all need now & then to wash every worry away.

I am from CT & It is amazing that we have these hidden gems right under our noses, we really are fortunate. Im so glad i discovered this one. I could just stare at the calm waters for hours, watch seals perform, discover sea creatures you dont see everyday, through long beach walks, with warm water on a lovely day. The house was stunning with a view of the lagoon in every room. The host Lin was an absolute sweetheart. My kids enjoyed every bit of our stay & was rather upset leaving. We will be back for sure.

LOVELY

A Villa with the most incredible views, it felt like we were in paradise. Direct access to the lagoon, private beach area, rocks makes it a WIN for all. Our first night was spent experiencing the worst of Cape Winter Storms and sounded like we were far out at sea....with no sleep to be had from thumping doors and whirring sounds (but then it was said to have been one of the worst storms Langebaan had experienced in a long time). The next three days and nights were sublime and felt like we were on an Ocean Liner. With this being winter in the Western Cape and given the Villa's proximity to the water it was surprisingly tepid inside the Villa. The living room is sunny all day long with balcony's off two sides. There are glorious views from all sides of the Villa. The kitchen is well equipped. The crockery is great. The location to the local village/shops/restaurants is approx 1.5km away (scenic if you choose to walk all the way on the beach). Linn the Host is super and checked in with us on most days, which we appreciated. Vusi, the Housekeeper was very friendly and helpful. Our only constructive comment is regarding the mattresses, linen and towels. The mattresses and linen were 'ok' (we are spoilt at home with good mattresses and linen). The bath towels and bath mats could do with an 'upgrade'. We had an awesome time and would love to go back one day soon.

Wunderbar!

Die Unterkunft ist außergewöhnlich gut ausgestattet, der Blick phänomenal, ein eigener (Mini-)Strand ist auch dabei. Den (beleuchteten) Grill haben wir wegen des Windes nicht genutzt - dann eben nächstes Mal. Großer Fernseher, DSTV ... für alle Sportliebhaber! Bauarbeiten dauern an, freundliche Handwerker, alles kein Problem.
