Very dated bed and breakfast

The breakfast was good

Main meal was dreadful. Davide said he didn’t get my email saying we wanted dinner. He said he could manage to make his bolognese go round. There was no offer of an alternative choice , the starter was just cold meat and salad…. The bolognese wasn’t nice I couldn’t eat it. It was an expensive dinner for what it was.

A Wonderful Stay in the Heart of the Trossachs

We had such a lovely experience staying at this charming bed and breakfast in a peaceful village nestled within the Trossachs National Park. From the moment we arrived, Sharon and Davide made us feel incredibly welcome with their warm hospitality. Our room was on the first floor with a beautiful view overlooking their private garden — a perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. Parking was conveniently available right in front of the house, which made things even easier. One of the highlights of our stay was the food. Davide cooked both dinner and breakfast for us, and everything was absolutely delicious! The night before, he asked about our breakfast preferences, and in the morning, we were served a freshly made, personalized meal. It was clear a lot of care went into every detail. Davide also gave us great tips for local walks and hikes in the area. We truly felt at home and well taken care of — a perfect mix of comfort, nature, and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended

Nicely decorated older home with common sitting rooms for guests to share. Excellent breakfast and we also opted for a homemade (delicious) dinner prepared by our host.

A warm welcome and very comfortable stay.

Everything about our visit was excellent. The hosts were so welcoming and our room extremely comfortable. The food was delicious too - best scrambled eggs with smoked salmon I’ve ever had.

Fantastic place to stay and wonderful food!

This is a lovely place to stay in a beautiful location and the hosts are also lovely. We enjoyed everything about our stay at the Rosebank, from the fantastic three course Italian dinner to the wonderful Scottish breakfast! We had a lovely evening walk and also saw one of the Strathyre beavers which was the wildlife highlight of our holiday.

Thank goodness we only booked 1 night

Room was tidy. Beautiful garden at the back of the property. Food (dinner and breakfast) prepared by the owners was absolutely delicious.

We should have done a better research and check properly the way the owners are responding to negative reviews (no doubt one such a response is coming our way). These were, unfortunately, the rudest and most unpleasant hosts we have ever met. From the get go unusually confrontational, so we felt very unwelcomed straight away and it made our whole stay uncomfortable. Walking on eggshells would be a good way to describe it. To give you an idea, we stayed at roughly 10 places on this trip alone (countless altogether) and it's common that we actually got so friendly with various hosts that we exchange numbers. This was the opposite of those hospitable people who have place in this business. Whatever disagreement or misunderstanding there might have been, all could have be resolved in much nicer way. Super thankful for other guests which were there at the time and were an absolute pleasure to talk to.

Bed was extremely comfortable, Bathroom was lovely, with a slipper bath in the window.

Dinner was a welcome (paid) extra given the scarcity of options in Strathyre. We also took waht sounded like an attractive £8 packed lunch option, which turned out to be very basic indeed.

A gem in a great location

Our hosts Sharon and Davide are experienced in the hotel industry and it showed in how they had so many thoughtful touches to make our stay comfortable. And they are warm and welcoming hosts. The house is fabulous- beautifully restored. There is a large welcoming sitting room and a garden conservatory where we enjoyed relaxing in the evenings. Don’t miss dinner: Davide is a fabulous cook offering great meals every evening (for a small extra fee— well worth it). Strathyre is quite small, but it has a village shop and excellent cafe 5” away.

A real gem

This is a really amazing B&B. The owners have created a wonderful homely atmosphere. They are incredibly friendly, helpful and flexible. There is a huge garden at the rear of the property and nice lounge area. The room was large and comfortable. The bathroom was good. The breakfast is superb with lots of homemade treats on offer. Very easy to find and in a beautiful setting. We will be back.

B&B was excellent, Sharon and Davide could not have been better hosts. We had an emergency which caused us to arrive late but they were more than accommodating and waited for us to arrive safely. The attention to detail from the home itself to the meals was amazing. If we could score higher, we would.

Highland hospitality with a Continental flair.

Where do we start, a very well run and beautifully plesented Bed and Breakfast with a touch of the quirky. Scottish hospitality at it's best with a touch of the Continent. Having stayed in many B and B's over the years Rosebank is exceptional, some may offer an evening meal but few will offer a Menu such as we have enjoyed over three wonderful days and evenings. The owners Sharon and Davide went out of their way to look after 5 soggy cyclists after travelling a long way on their bikes. The three course meal was a special bonus and the service was so friendly and accommodating. Thanks for making it such a wonderful stay.

Great location, great food, great service... wonderful place to stay

The owners, they were friendly, funny and very attentive. Our kids were very impressed with their humour. The food, absolutely delicious! Location, we attended the highland games, our accommodation was very very convenient. The room, the room was quite spacious and big enough to accommodate two adults, two teenagers and our 10 year old. The view, as soon as you pull up to the area, you realise how gorgeous the place really is. The accommodation is surrounded by trees, ferns and mountains.

Traveled with my family and they had an absolutely wonderful accommodation for us, which seems to be difficult to find in Europe. As soon as we entered my entire family just started to relax. Hosts were very thoughtful and accommodating, including providing gluten-free options for my wife. Be sure to check out the garden.
