Villa Marina in Playa de Palma

great vacation spot for larger groups who enjoy hanging out by the pool. very clean, multiples bathrooms available and options to lounge in the huge garden or play with the provided entertainment (table tennis, mini basketball hoops, some games). small kitchen available for cooking and small indoor dining area if you do want to sit inside. if desired you can get a 20L keg of beer. great spot for outdoor BBQs.

the remote location can be annoying if you have to shop without a car, but you know this when you are booking so just be prepared to do the 15 minute walk :) during the day most of the pool area is not covered by anything, so you need to move to the table area for some shade as the lounges are not protected from the sun.

Our group of eight had such an incredible stay at Villa Marina thanks to the lovely accommodation and hosts. The amenities were incredible from the quality of the rooms to the pool, karaoke machine, and optional beer access. We loved our stay and look forward to returning! Gracias Marina :)

The villa is very beautiful, especially the garden and terrace where you can find the pool of course, along with a comfortable hammock, multiple areas for sunbathing and relaxing, and a pingpong table and other sport/game related stuff. We found everything to be very well maintained, which was nice since you will probably spend a lot of time outside because of the nice weather. The property itself is located in a somewhat remote area between Palma and El Arenal so for most of our journeys into the city we used a taxi which can be expensive when done frequently. However, it is completely possible to walk to the beach and there is even a busstop relatively nearby which you can take to go the center of the town.

Some of the beds were uncomfortable because they were too hard to our liking. Though I suppose that is a personal preference and not everyone will be bothered by it. Secondly, when using taxi’s, it’s not very clear which adres to use for the villa. We sometimes had to show google maps for the location of the villa because the drivers didn’t know where to they had to drive. Especially with ordering taxi’s this posed a problem.
