Villa Mar - Can Bujosa

La villa es muy guay! Muy grande! Todas disfrutamos muchísimo! Y Michelle fue súper amable!

Las hamacas por detrás tenían unas pocas telarañas, pero nada que no solucionara un trapito! Única pega que no empaña todo lo demás que fue genial!

The house is spacious, has plenty of wardrobe storage, three full bathrooms and a shower room. There was a great big American style fridge and freezer with lots of space. The location is really good as the house is very close to the beach, bars, restaurants and shops but still in a quiet street. Public transport and taxi stands are just around the corner with an excellent connection into Palma and the airport.

The decor of the house is a bit tired in places - especially the bathrooms. There could have been more glasses and a better assortment of kitchen items. But it worked. We also couldn't find any cushions for the sun loungers.

The location was awesome, only a 5 minutes walk to the beach where you could find restaurants and bars even though you aren't located in Palma. There was a bus stop nearby, as well, which made it easy to get to and from Palma.

The hosts were difficult to talk to and coordinate with. I was given an initial point of contact who handed over a number to another point of contact. I had requested early check-in and was told that was okay for a fee of 50 Euros. I was happy with this as our flight arrived several hours early and we did not want to sit around with luggage for that long. Once I landed I reached out to the second point of contact, with whom I coordinated the early check-in and received no response. I called, no response. I then contacted the initial point of contact and was told that the second point of contact was at work and that they were not aware of my early check-in request... at this point I was frustrated and was wondering what we should do with our luggage as it was raining very hard outside. After about an hour I was told there was someone waiting for me at the Villa (the second point of contact's mother). This was the first time I was told someone would be waiting for me at the Villa upon our arrival. Once we arrived to the villa, we were told we would have to pay an extra 50 euros just because the mother of the second point of contact waited too long for us.... we were not happy about this as we would have just went to the villa directly from the airport had we known we were to be met immediately. Also, the entire time I had been communicating with the first and second points of contact entirely in English and the mother of the second contact did not speak English. Fortunately, we had a Spanish speaker with us, but had we not we would have been insanely confused and been charged the extra 50 euros, which was eventually dropped due to us explaining our efforts and frustrations.
