House on Magnolii 1

The location is great - right in the middle of Green Cape which is a lovely cluster of verdant green hills and small valleys just North of Batumi. We had a view to the Black Sea and a side view across to Batumi where we could see the night lights each evening. The house is quite basic by UK standards, but everything works, and we didn't have any problems. It is 10 mins walk down the hill to the Botanic Gardens and the sea. Local shop is a 5 min drive where you can get lovely fresh bread and veg - supermarkets another 5 mins by car for everything else. Apparently, it is also a famous house owned by 2 Russian novelists who were publishing work in the early 1900's. We really enjoyed our stay.

I suggested to the owner that he should buy better beds/mattresses - they could have been a lot worse, but could also have been a lot better!
