An affordable, comfortable, and luxurious accommodation experience right in the heart of the city

We stayed here for 5 nights with my partner, we had a really great experience in Ben Akiba Suites during our vacation, they were very friendly, helpful, comfortable, hardworking and accessible. Photos of the place is exactly the same, we stayed in 2 different rooms, one was the big apartment which we loved the most and other was the 1st room. If you want to see the city and relax during the night I would for sure suggest the big apartment which has a private Sauna, in my opinion their facility were one of the best for the city hotels. Location of the hotel was perfect, you can walk to the square in couple minutes, have a market and good restaurants nearby. If I go to Belgrade one more time, with no hesitation I will stay in Ben Akiba Suites. Thank you for making our Belgrade memories unforgettable, it was a really great pleasure to meet you and stay there…

our room was entered without our permission despite explicitly stating that we didn't want any staff to enter and that we'd handle cleaning ourselves. when confronted, the response we received was, “we can enter our property.” this is a shocking violation of privacy, extremely disrespectful and honestly frightening. guests should feel safe in their rooms, not worried about unauthorized entry.

The door of the property doesn’t seem very secure and the cold sweeps in through the door frame as there is a gap all around the door. Also the stairs are very narrow and if the elevator breaks down which it did on our stay it can be tough for some people to go up and down those steps.

Nice apartment with the jacuzzi, quiet street in the centre of the city.

Great location! It's in a quiet street in the middle of the busy city centre. The windows are facing a little inner garden so it's really quiet and relaxed in the apartment. Good cafes and restaurants around, main pedestrian street Knez Mihailova Street and vintage Skadarlija are less than 5 minutes away. We had a jacuzzi in the room, it's quite nice to use it after a day full of walks and adventures. Keeps kids busy, better than the TV (which is also present in the apartment btw). Good beds and sofas, lots of cushions. We were seven people - and it was nice to have two apartments facing each other.

I personally missed more teaspoons (there was one per room) and an iron. It is probably solvable by contacting the host but I was too busy enjoying the city.

Great apartment in the city center with a sauna

Great location in the heart of the city and very quiet. The apartment was a great size and well equipped. We really enjoyed the sauna too.

The jacuzzi has it's own water heater and unfortunately the 3 times we tried filling it the water barely got warm so we couldn't use it. If you plan on using it I would check with the host that the water is hotter. The shower was plenty hot but just very small.

- Some valves of the jaccuzi were not stable. The wiring also seemed not safe to me. I am not sure id they get maintained by technical service regularly. - Hot water is limited. And boiler can not be activated while showering. - Elevator also seemed not safe to me. - Location is different from the one showing here (still good location) - No shampoo or shower gel - Only cash

I am not recommending it

Instead of checking out at 11:00 like the website told us the owner called me the previous night before our reservation to tell me that she has another reservation or to this room that se forgot and we have to leave at 9 instead of 11 …not forget to mention that she changed the time of the reservation after the date of the free cancellation policy on purpose

This apartment is absolutely amazing! Everything was perfectly clean — the apartment itself, the bed linen, and the towels. It’s located right in the city center, so everything I needed was just a short walk away. I have truly never felt better or more comfortable during a stay. The host is a wonderful woman — kind, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. She made me feel at home from the very first moment. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone — it’s more than just accommodation, it’s an experience. I stayed for three days this time, but I’m definitely coming back very soon, and next time for a longer stay. No doubt about it!

+ Exceptional apartment. + Excellent location, right in the city center and easy accessibility to the public transportation which is free to travel in all parts of the city. + Very responsive, friendly and supportive host. She is a beautiful host who explained every little thing about the apartment, location, city, best places and also helped us in booking a taxi to the airport at the midnight and made sure we caught the taxi on time and reached the airport. + Very clean apartment, clean towels everyday, everything is functional (AC, Dishwasher, Stove, Hot water, equipped kitchen with utensils), comfortable bed and very spacious apartment. + The main highlight of the apartment is the Jacuzzi which was placed right in the middle of the living area - clean, relaxing and functional. + Finely decorated apartment, lovely balcony, so many beautiful lights, lift, safe, supermarket just next to the building, eateries and shopping street around the corner, very close to Republica main city center. Thank you for the lovely stay!! :)

- The building is old so furniture might look old but for us it was not a problem, just be careful with closing and opening the gates of the main door, bathroom and balcony - felt like it won't close but it just needed some patience and a trick :) We loved our stay and have no complaints, a highly recommended apartment and host.

Really nice apartment, however it could be a better value for money.

The design is beautiful and well though of. The jacuzzi was of a good quality and spacious. There was enough of both really hot and really cold water, so good for the spa experience.

Paying attention to detail was missing, like a floor mat, or something to wipe off the water from the bathroom floor, slightly overused towels... The property location was inaccurate. There was no mention in the property description that the location of our apartment was in an older building close to the Museum of Illusions, rather than behind the National Theatre, as stated. I would have appreciated to know that in advance. The jacuzzi was in the bathroom, not in the living room. It seems the pictures of apparently nine apartments at two locations are all mixed up.

Great location; can't say the same thing about the host- not recommended!

The location was great, but having an unprofessional host spoiled the experience for us. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

The host took an eternity to come with the keys. We informed him in advance and kept giving him updates about our location. He kept saying he was just a few minutes away, which was untrue. It spoiled our entire mood and created a lot of inconvenience for us because we were very hungry after a long transfer and needed to exchange money and get dinner before the restaurants shut shop for the night. While waiting for him I read the reviews of this place and it became clear that this is not a one-off thing- he is often late with the keys, as mentioned in the reviews. I wish I had read the reviews carefully before booking the property. I would neither stay here again nor recommend it to anyone else. Also, we called & messaged the host at night with a few queries after checking in. He never bothered to reply and didn't receive our calls. For those reading the review: please check the list of facilities the place provides- you'll see the same thing (TV/ bath etc.) repeated several times to create a longer list. That is not cool. It also lists free toiletries but only provides a 2-in-1 shampoo/ body wash in the bathroom. Mentions tea/ coffee but provides four pouches of 3-in-1 coffee powder, no tea. It's not a deal-breaker for me, but it's a misleading description on the part of the host.

great location, walking distance to main sight seeings, host was very helpful

check in was not easiest, the apartment is not marked on the building so unless you call the host it’s impossible to understand if you’re at the right place. payment was only possible in cash in local currency. the jacuzzi was rather dirty/very dusty, so you have to wash it properly before use.
