AVA Rooms

I was extremely happy with my stay. The apartment was spacious, very clean and comfortable, with a lovely balcony overlooking the street. Despite being in a lively central location, the double-glazed doors and external panels meant that when everything was closed I could hear virtually nothing from outside, and the room could also be made completely dark. The bed and couch were both very comfortable, there was plenty of storage space, good Wi-Fi, ceiling fans and air conditioning, and the shower had excellent hot water and good pressure. The location on Fuencarral was excellent, with plenty of activity, entertainment and places to eat nearby. It was also only about an 800 metre walk from the theatre I was attending. The host was very warm and welcoming. She does not speak English, but she was very willing to work with me so that everything was sorted out. I would definitely stay here again.

I didn’t have any real problems with the accommodation. The only thing worth knowing in advance is that there is no large sign outside for AVA Rooms. The entrance looks like a normal residential doorway, so look for number 17 and the buzzer for AVA Rooms rather than expecting a hotel-style sign. The street immediately outside is pedestrianised, so a taxi cannot stop directly at the door, although it is only a short walk to where taxis can drop off and pick up.

Elevator, Air conditioning, clean room, tv, silence with closed windows, location.

Smell with painting or something else, not sure, the only thing that didn’t like.

Was walking distance for all the important places. The shower water pressure was great, air conditioning great.

No dislike

It was the exactly size I expected with the right setup. Comfy and functional. Easy to get into and out of I liked the keys.

The bed was a bit loud and a little uncomfortable as it dented slightly by the second night but honestly wasn't a problem.
