Local penguins and excellent view

Location is just perfect .

Accommodation was basic

A stunning location over looking beautiful Emu Bay. Very comfortable with lots of lovely places to sit and enjoy the view.

Be prepared for a lot of bird noise which makes the house truly unique! There are flocks of very loud corellas in the tres above. There are also some resident little penguins who are noisy at night but very special. There were ear plugs at the property!

Excellent location raised above the beach which is accessed via some large stepping stones down the dune. Small 1 bedroom 'shack' but has all amenities including a large fridge, oven and air con.

The mattress needs replacing unless you like rolling into the middle. At the time we stayed we were serenaded nightly by the penguins - unique and cute at first but not when you end up averaging 5 - 6 hours sleep a night. This became worse on the night the poor penguins were terrorised by vehicles racing up and down the beach whilst they were trying to get to their burrows and they then 'squawked' all night. Unfortunately and illogically driving on the beach is permitted.
