Samsara Ubud

The location is very unique in the jungle and experience was very pleasant as the staff was very attentive to our needs. I went there for my honeymoon and would recommend it for any couples looking for a private and unforgettable.

The style and setup of the villas were great. We booked a 2 bedroom villa. The private pool was beautiful.

Its quite remote - 25mins to the village centre. I don’t know if they were short staffed but pool bar not serviced. We mostly ordered room service. Some communication issues also.

Remoteness, room size and quality finishes. Heated pool was amazing and staff made our stay perfect.

Samsara Ubud is a very special place. From the moment you arrive, there is a wonderful sense of peace and seclusion. Surrounded by lush tropical greenery, it feels completely removed from the outside world and is the sort of place where you very quickly slow down and relax. The rooms are spacious and very private. The private pool was a particularly lovely feature. The heated pool is a big plus especially in Ubud where the mornings and evenings can be cooler. It meant that we actually used the pool throughout the day rather than simply admiring it! The whole resort is beautifully designed and blends wonderfully into its surroundings. Everything feels calm, understated and very Balinese without being overdone. It is luxurious, but in a quiet and relaxed way. The staff were consistently warm, gracious and attentive, and service throughout our stay was excellent. Breakfast was generous, with plenty of choice, and the setting made even a leisurely breakfast feel like part of the experience rather than simply another hotel meal.
