Grand Piano Apartment

Great place to stay for our 6-day winter visit to Florence. We loved the experience of staying in a Florentine home, and the grand piano was such a bonus. The apartment had everything we needed. The location was quiet and an easy walk into the centre of town. George was a very attentive host and communicated very well.

Incredible location within a short walk to many sites, including the Pitti Palace and Ponte Vecchio. Everything is extremely convenient location-wise. The apartment itself radiates, charm, warmth, and high-quality comfort. I love the sophisticated, authentic vibes! The owner is extremely helpful and available for anything that comes up. Each time I have stayed here, it has been the most positive Florentine experience ! It is a real treat to experience “life as a local”.

This is not a negative, but it is important to note that this is a walk-up so stairs are definitely involved. As with many other buildings throughout Italy, the trade off of authenticity and old world charm is the lack of elevators. :)

This place is amazing. The location couldn't be better. It's in a charming quieter neighbourhood that exudes old Florentine soul and also so close to all the main tourist attractions and centre of town. There are so many great shops and restaurants nearby. We found a lot of vintage clothing and great food nearby. It is beautiful decorated with art and is very spacious. It felt like home to us (my husband, daughter and I). George was the ultimate host and such a great resource to be able to connect with when we had questions about anything. He became more of a friend to us than an apartment host. We were able to make use of the piano as we are both musicians and that is something you do not find often in a rental apartment. The bed was also very comfortable and we loved using the kitchen to make meals from fresh produce found right across the street. This apartment will be a cherished part of our family memories forever. I couldn't recommend it more!

The apartment is located walking distance to the center, but in a neighborhood that feels local and authentic. The apartment is beautiful, clean and comfortable and both partner and I are musicians, so we could enjoy the lovely piano. George was an excellent host- definitively a place to go back to!
