Location was great, staff were great. Room had a great view and very clean. Room was a good size too.

Didn’t like that the property charged almost double when booking a taxi to the train station and triple for a boat tour. Well over priced.

It’s a very old heritage property and the look was amazing . It’s just on the bank of the river Ganges and from every room you can see the holy river Ganga . The place was well maintained and the staffs were super amazing , welcoming and friendly. The owner of the property Mr. Tandon was himself very enthusiastic about welcoming the guest and giving a complete tour of the property. It was like Feel at Home .

Nothing much to be disliked but few small maintenance needs to be done considering it’s a 150 years old property.

Excellent location if you plan to have a Ghat life experience . The food is so delicious cooked by in house chef .. the host Mr. Tandon uncle was very courteous and active even at the age of 85 years ... Kudos to the entire staff , excellent rooms with ganges view . We recommend the property for a wholesome stay.

It's just that it's a bit of a walikf sitanxe from the main road and the property doesn't have a lift .

Way too expensive and not value for money ( paid Rs 15k for two nights), rip off for what is available in return: Toilet is too small, wet area doesn’t dry fast has to be mopped, WC in small area means cannot sit straight, old door (rusty) Steep stairs, room was on level 2, no lift, walk up/ down in conjunction with walking 15min to nearest main street is inconvenient. Dine in menu not always available, ordered mini thali and got told this is only available at higher volume orders not just one, and i travelled alone. Access to hotel from main street drop off is 15 min, narrow lanes, smelly, dirty , creates unpleasant experience. Cash only payment for any taxi organised by hotel and any food purchased in the hotel. No security/safe box to keep valuables. Dinner ordered fried rice was not nice, felt like vomitting
