The worst

This is one of the coldest houses, the spa facilities work only during the day, the swimming pool is frozen, the hot water in the bathroom arrives after 5-10 mins running, the rooms are extremely cold. Staff was extremely rude and not friendly, the welcoming time is until 21:00 o’clock. They didn’t stop calling us until 19:30 to ask when are we arriving. Very impatient and not professional. They were asking personal things like where we are travelling to, what and where we are going to do. What time are we coming back (considering it’s none of their business) the only normal question was about if we want a breakfast. We didn’t. Considering the fact we used NOTHING from the facilities they could make a discount. I am a local plus I am a professional in tourist industry, all of the facts stated above are not acceptable. The top of everything was that she charged us at the door without any receipt, was very rude. “Come on get in your room it’s getting colder (we were still thinking if we want to stay) I advice everyone, as a professional ( not like them) DO NOT GO INTO THIS NOT GUEST-FRIENDLY HOUSE!

Our stay in Ognyanovo guest house was great. The location is very good, the hosts were very welcoming and nice. They took very good care of us. The breakfast was homemade, the rooms were clean and warm. For the price - everything was great.

the view, clean room

Even there is a sauna and a steam room in the guest house it wasn’t working, we had to say 2 hours before using the sauna to the stuff to turn it on, and it works until 4 pm only. The pool was not with mineral water and very dirty…in the center of mineral water spa we couldn’t use any of that. Very disappointing. The breakfast was very bad. There was no working restaurant, needed to eat somewhere else.

If we travel again to Ognyanovo or the region we would definitely visit the place again.

Our room offered a great view of the nearby mountains and the wanderful backyard with the BBQ and the pool. The manager was very kind and polite to us. The room was big enough and very clean. The pool was also well maintained. The breakfast was extreamely delicious and we were also offered some bevarages. Moreover the place is great for families with young children.

The staff (except the manager) behaved theirselves a little inappropriate at times - they were even rude with the manager which wasn't very pleasant to witness as a guest.

Everything was perfectly fine. Friendly people, nice and cozy place. Room and pool was very clean. We recommend this place. Breakfast was homemade and delicious! Place is suitable for kids too.

Really cozy. The hostess lady was very friendly. Great view from the spacious terrace.

Lighting in the studio could be better - kind of dark even when all the lights are on. Internet connection in the studio was very poor - the WiFi signal was very weak.

Casa huéspedes humilde, con lo básico, para 1 noche de paso

Humilde casa de huéspedes, habitaciones antiguas con lo básico pero limpias y confortables para una noche. Baño sencillo, ducha integrada en aseo, típico del país. Familia que regenta no habla inglés pero hace todo lo posible por comunicarse y que estés cómodo sin que te falte nada. Desayuno casero con tomate, tostadas, queso, un poco de fruta y café. Lo mejor las vistas desde la terraza al jardín y la piscina teniendo de fondo las hermosas montañas de Pirin.

Es bastante “cutrecito” pero para dormir una noche hace el apaño. Es como volver 60 años atrás
