About this cabin rental
Relax or recreate on beautiful Heart Lake in northern Michigan near Gaylord. Cozy log cabin with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The primary bedroom has an attached remodeled bathroom with large walk-in shower. Two bedrooms semi-private with open ceilings to beautiful cathedral log ceilings. Third bedroom tucked away from living area. Living area open concept with views to the lake. Sunroom makes a perfect spot to relax with a book while looking out on the lake. A large two-tier walkout deck makes for perfect spot for morning coffee or afternoon cocktails.
The lake is very clean and surrounded by mature trees for a beautiful setting. We have resident loons and eagles during the summer. All-sports access: fishing, boating, skiing, jet-skis, paddle boards and kayaks are all welcome. Lake has a no-wake rule from 7:30 pm until 11:30 am, allowing for tranquil mornings and evenings, and still plenty of time for all the fun during the day.
Waters and Heart Lake are just 15 minutes to Gaylord with plenty of restaurants and shopping. The cottage is close to I-75 and just an hour to Mackinac or Traverse City.

We meet with family from MN every summer in Gaylord near our parents home. Had a great time again this year seeing everyone and having our family picnic. Kids enjoyed playing in the lake, our favorite place had some awesome upgrades done! We love this cabin!

We had a wonderful week. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We loved the paddle boards and the lake is beautiful with a sandy beach for the kids to play and it was quiet all week. We’ve rented different places the last few years for vacations but will definitely plan to come back to this one.

We had the BEST time at this cottage. The cottage is extremely clean and is equipped with everything you will need for your stay. It is an original Log Cabin that has been very well kept, with a few updates that make it very charming. There are two amazing decks that were added to the lakeside side at the back of the house. It is a very quiet lake even though there was a lot of boat traffic mid day. The additional wooden deck down by the small beach was an added bonus, as was a very nice dock which also had a seating platform. Traci was extremely helpful and very attentive to any questions we had. We loved our stay here and will be looking at the calendar for a return visit in the future. 5 stars +++

We stayed in this cabin for 6 nights. The cabin was clean, well-maintained and beautiful! The manager Traci is very friendly, responsive, and helpful. At one point we asked about the use of a rowboat on premise, Traci not only gave us permission, she came by and made sure we had oars for it! We very much enjoyed our stay here and look forward to coming back in future years!
