Welcome to the Aqua Cove Cottage!
* THREE BEDROOMS * TWO & 1/2 BATHS * SLEEPS UP TO 10 * JUST MINUTES FROM THE BEACH * BALCONY TO ENJOY THE EVENING BREEZES * FIRST CLASS SHOPPING/DINING * 2 POOLS, 1 IS HEATED DURING WINTER & WHIRLPOOL * 5 MINUTE WALK TO THE GULF! *PET FRIENDLY
This adorable cottage is a three bedroom two and a half bath home approximately 1,800 sq. ft with two stories. You will walk into a spacious living room with plenty of seating and a Flat Screen TV/DVD player. The kitchen and dining area are also in this area and overlook the living room to make socializing simple! The dining area as well as the living room is all newly furnished as of Dec 2025! The living room features two sofas (1 is a sleeper), as well as a recliner! The dining table has seating for 8 with additional seating at the breakfast bar!
The master bedroom with a private bathroom is located on the ground floor. The laundry room with brand new washer and dryer, and a half bath are also on the first floor. Enjoy patio access from the hall off the kitchen area.
Top floor features two bedrooms with balcony access as well as a large bathroom. In one bedroom there are two full beds. The other bedroom is a second master and features a King bed. Both of these bedrooms have access to the second floor balcony.
The outdoor patio area is like having a second kitchen and living room. The pavered patio has a covered area with dining table plus additional lounging area.
We will accept your fur baby for the additional pet fee. Please remember though no pets are allowed on furniture or bedding.
There are two pools in this subdivision one is only a 1/2 block away and the other is about a block walk towards the beach. As if the home isn't good enough Emerald Shores also has its own PRIVATE beach access as well as beach restrooms and pavilion!! Tram service runs during peak seasons in case the sun and sand have worn you down! Capt Dave’s on the Gulf & Kenny D’s are restaurant/bars within walking distance to The Stowaway Cottage. Crab Trap is a little farther down but would be a fairly easy walk for the family to make to enjoy some other dinner fare! The property was very much as advertised. Communication with the owner was efficient.Positives:-great layout with plenty of space-comfortable beds-box fans also supplied for bedrooms--nice for creating white noise at night-ample dining space-well appointed kitchen, plenty of dishes and silverware-crockpot, blender, mixer, mini-chopper, etc.-nice, quiet neighborhood (we have stayed here in another property several times)-quick walk to the Dollar General was convenient.-large walk-in closet in downstairs master-games, puzzles, books in downstairs living room closet-although we didn't need them, there were several baby items like a high chair, etc.-outdoor gas grill with outdoor seating-poolsPossible areas for improvement-upper balcony needed cleaning-I would rate the overall cleanliness as an 8/10, but admittedly I am very picky. -providing beach chairs would be a nice bonus-tennis/basketball area was being renovated and was blocked off but this information was not communicated prior to our visit-1/2 mile walk to the beach. This wasn't a problem for us as we were all adults, but it might be worth noting for those with littles or individuals with mobility issues.-Bathrooms are a little dated, but everything was in good working order with ample counter and storage space.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying at this property again in the future. May was a beautiful time in Destin with great weather and fewer crowds.

This property is located within walking distance to the beach and has 2 community pools. There is a private access for the beach. The beach pavillion has bathrooms, a rare find. The community is gated. The home was well stocked and comfortable. The property manager was easy to contact and communicate with.

This is a very nice location. Although it is wheelchair accessible it is not ADA accessible. We always have a problem with the wheelchair accessibility. Definitely bring your own spices. The beds are comfortable and the house is clean. If you are a beach/pool person it’s perfect .

Great home and in a perfect location. The property comes with private access to the beach and is within walking distance. The centralized location puts you right in the middle of the large shopping locations. If you have a wife and daughters like me, save up because the prices are discounted everywhere. Definitely a great place to stay with your loved ones. Thank you!!!
