There better be an automatic light when you go out of the room. Hard to see where is the lightswitch.

Comfortable room in the old city of Tarquinia.

The building is located inside the old city a short walk from the Archeological museum. The room was small, but comfortable. the shared kitchen was well equipped to prepare a simple breakfast of pastry and coffee. There is a good Cafe/gelateria about 5 minutes away. Restaurants are nearby for lunch or dinner. Directions from the host to find the building and check-in were excellent.

Lovely accommodation in the heart of Tarquinia

The property was in the heart of Tarquinia, and we found it easy to find places to eat and shops to buy the essentials. There was a gelato place just a couple steps away that my boyfriend and I frequently went to during our stay. The bus stop was around the corner too, which allowed us to travel to and from the train station to visit other places like Rome. The host was very kind and accommodating, and helped us with navigating around the city. It was our first holiday as a couple and we have fallen in love with the hidden gem that is Tarquinia, we hope to visit again in the future, and when we do we will definitely book this property!

I think there is a school beside the property, and so during the weekdays you can hear the children early in the morning. It did not affect us personally, but it may for those who want to spend a holiday relaxing in their room all day.

..It's very close to the little Piazza.. The rooms downstairs looked great. I didn't have one!

..Being by myself, I was given the room at the top of the house.. It was only OK..the shower door didn't open more than about 12 inches.. You wouldn't want to be Large. The aircon was intermittent. There was NO response on the owners phones.

Fantastic B & B

The room was so special. It was a great location that was easy to get to once we figured out where it was located. Having been in the town before I knew where the museum was but had to ask several friendly people where to go from there. Enjoyed the air conditioning, the large room, and the treats available in the kitchen. Highly recommend!

Arrived by train. Had some difficulty figuring out when and where the city bus would arrive. The only communication we received was the day before in Italian. We couldn't figure out how to get into the keyless door without asking someone on the street to read the correspondence. Then, we didn't know which room we were supposed to be in. From my reservation we figured out #2. Needed some assistance in obtaining a taxi for the next day. Had hoped to have someone there to assist us.

Great location. The concept within the chiostro is very original. Modern, comfortable nice furniture. The window could be more secured since our room was at the ground floor.

Surely recommend it!

We have enjoyed our stay at the property. It is located in the heart of the city. The main square is only one minute on foot. There is a parking on the street that you can park for free just 3 minutes on foot. As it is down town there are all kind of shops, restaurants and coffee shops at one minute walk. The room is big and keeps the tranditional style of architecture. The staff is really helpful and friendly, answering all the questions you may have.

What I recommend is a better cleaning of the kitchen (for example the bottom of the kettle or the coffee machine).

Contactless checkin was seamless, and the host was very accomodating.

The mattress squeaked with every move, the pillows had a smell, and the "shared kitchen" was not available to us (although I understand it was for reasons of pandemic, it was not removed from the facilities list, so I expected access to it). Also the wifi barely reached our room, at times it disconnected and was not visible.

Great location, beautifully furnished interior, great staff. Bad bed though and the room was dark.

The location was amazing, right in the city center. The interior was very nice, beautifully furnished, nice style. Also the self check-in went really fluently, everything without any problems. Staff was great! Breakfast was good. I appreciated the fridge and possibility to leave our things inside.

The squeaking bad! Every movement was loud. Also, our room probably used to be some kind of little shop, so the "balcony" is more like just some space inbetween the door to the "shop" with chairs and table. You feel like being a street attraction. :) It was also the only source of daylight to the room, otherwise it's quite dark.. Also, we got a little shampoo in the shower that was already used before (almost empty). We also missed some place where to put the towels in the bathroom.

Exceptional

Everything. Welcoming, spacious apartment in a charming old building, right in the middle of the historic town, with soundproof window. A piece of cake waiting in the table under a glass cover.

When I called the contact number and started asking a question in English the person at the other end hang up, without even letting me try in Italian. But the member of staff we met in the building was very helpful.
