The location , good breakfast but only warm water for tea. Lovely staff.

The decor is cold feeling, no real relaxing areas, breakfast a bit cafeteria style Plastic bed protector! I removed! The bathroom. It was shower over bath, very dangerous as slippy, no slip mat, water leaked onto floor, tap wasn’t suitable for sink.

A stunning hotel. Really beautiful and picturesque. The outdoor area is fabulous and really comfy beds. The hotel room is an ok size but the bed is super big & comfy. Slept so well every night. The staff are absolutely fantastic. Breakfast was good too! And of course… leading out into the beach was just Devine. A very short walk into town also.

The shower was finicky. It didn’t work all the time and often went from hot to cold.

Drinks were expensive, bottled water was over priced Our room had a bath with shower, would prefer a walk in shower

The hotel is new(ish) and is kept spotlessly clean by a team of housekeepers who appear to be working from morning to night. Location wise, it is at best a 20 minute walk into Alvor. It is right on the beachfront which would have been great if the weather conditions had allowed us to venture onto the beach, which it did not. Other than that this and other hotels surrounding it are pretty much isolated.

Beds are solid, most uncomfortable week I have ever spent in a hotel. Breakfast, if you are used to British fare, is poor. If you like continental style then it’s okay. I stuck with tea and toast. On one evening, having returned from dinner in Alvor, I stopped at the bar for a drink, only to be informed that the hotel had run out of beer! No draught on tap and only a few bottles of zero alcohol lager. The bar area itself is rather bleak and soulless, the pool area much the same.
