The room was small but comfortable and had everything we needed. The TV and shower were especially nice. The included breakfast is decent--don't expect a fancy buffet but it's enough to start the day. I think everything was pretty fair for the price we paid. Location is excellent with quick access to the light rail.
The staff didn't always seem to know what was going on. When we checked in the lady at the desk charged us for one night without breakfast, even though we were there for 3 nights breakfast included. She corrected it but didn't seem to pass on the message immediately because we weren't on the breakfast list the next day. That being said, they were always friendly.

It was my third time in this hostel, and it was good enough to come back again. I like the lobby with a lot of space to sit down and work with a laptop. The location is fantastic, next to the Old City and the public transport. The staff is welcoming.
My experience with a shared room was not so good this time, but not because of the hostel. I know that when I order a dormitory room, I pay less but I take a chance. One of the ladies in the room was sick and coughed all night, another snored, another went out in the middle of the night, and all this in addition to Independence Day parties outside, so I didn't really sleep two nights I stayed there.
Of course I"'m not saying the hostel did something wrong, just describing my experience.

To the point and easy, the receptionist were amazing in helping me with travel plans in war time.
No proper shelter. A parking garage probably works but…..

The location is great !
The reception staff (one woman in particular ) were rude. When I arrived 10 before 15:00 on a Friday - there were 10 people waiting to check in. But the woman who supposed to be working then refused to help until she finished her lunch ! I didn't have my paper tourist visa, (did have my passport), and refused the VAT.
The hostel is just acceptable in terms of cleanliness... The breakfast is mediocre. Unless you are staying on a Friday night -don't pay for the breakfast. On Saturday, do arrange for breakfast, since stores are closed
