Really friendly hostel with a great communal atmosphere and comfortable private room.
Make sure to bring some mosquito repellant as there’s lots of them in the courtyard. A little bit of variety in breakfast would also have been great.

The staff was really nice. Loved the breakfast. Toilets and showers clean and refreshed. A homey vibe. Lovely kitchen.
I wished the AC in the common room worked better. For me I like a cozier place that has more common areas within closed spaces but hey the yard is the thing of the place.

Breakfast is good and the crowd here are amazing if you're a traveller! Met lovely people.
The cleanliness is so bad :( I stayed at The Yard Chiang Mai and LOVED it so really wanted to love this one. However, my bedsheets felt so unclean and old upon arrival, and then ended up finding bugs. The shared common area is also similarly stale and unclean, ants found in the kitchen. I understand that the hostel tries to be sustainable and low-effort their vibe, but it crosses over to stale/unclean/old so this should be balanced.
