The place felt exactly like home - cozy, convenient, safe, with the owner and staff willing to go out of their ways to offer whatever help you might need. There's a 7Eleven and plenty of nice food stalls along the mainroad, a short walk will get you to CenterOne mall and the Victory Monument BTS. The only tiny bit of inconvenience is the shared bathroom between perhaps too many rooms, and the poor sound proofing, but for the price and location it's still completely worth it. Will go back to try the cafe at the ground floor ;)

The hotel is in a fairly strategic location, and the staff are friendly and helpful. However, the room was quite small, and the bathroom was located outside the room. Unfortunately, the room was also not soundproof, which made the privacy and overall comfort less enjoyable.

We had an incredibly great stay at De Chalet! The place was very affordable yet it exceeded all of our expectations. First, the location is very ok as it was accessible to almost everything. 5-10mins walking distance from Victory Monument BTS, 2 mins walking distance from a nearby 7/11, and Santiphap park just right in front of the hotel. Second, all of the staff are kind and friendly. They clean the room everyday when we’re out and regularly changes our bath towels and bed linens. We just wished there was an elevator but given the space of the building, it is totally understandable. All in all, we had a great and comfortable stay at De Chalet. Will definitely book again once we come back to Thailand! 🙂

The aircondition was not working properly. It was very uncomfortable to rest and sleep with hot temperature. The AC unit has to be replaced with a higher horsepower. Despite the AC low temperature it was still very hot. It cannot accommodate the whole room. We had a restless sleep for 3 nights. They also dont clean the rooms and replace the towels. Their bathroom sink is broken and so is the bathroom door knob.
