Villa Di Capri

The property itself, great view, clean and beautiful house.

Would have been great to be more equipped with toiletries, tea and coffee at least.

Everything exceeded our expectations. It's a stunning property with everything you could ever need. We were lucky to stay there. The beds were so comfortable! The best bed I've ever slept in. Air conditioning in every room was great. The property was beautiful. The kitchen had everything for cooking, and more! Spices, salt, sugar, coffee and many other things. It was super clean and easy to get to, in a perfect location between Poros and Skala (10 minutes each way). Amazing.

The only thing that was a bit difficult was getting in the property via a very steep driveway. The driveway is on the main road and the car was struggling to get up it! The gate needs to be opened before you drive up. The first time we arrived, we parked in front of the closed gate and then attempted to drive up it, but the car would not manage. I had to reverse back down and then drive up again. The following times, we opened the gate before driving up (with a remote control) and that worked fine.

The Villa was very well equipped. The highlight being the really comfortable beds. What we really liked was the pool as it was a nice length for swimming.

The entrance/exit to the driveway which was on a bend was a challenge as it was on a bend where the cars come around fast. There was a mirror on the opposite side of the road to see but it was broken. A new mirror would be great.

Excellent location with a beautiful view on the sea - you can view the sea while lying on the bed. Very quiet and no neighbours near by. Good size of the swimming pool.

No pool heating! For us it was the deal breaking feature and we were very disappointed that it didn't work out. We asked the host about the pool heating the day we arrived only to learn that we can get it for the last 2-3 days of our stay for extra €350. The host explanation was that we'd have to arrange it more in advance hence the price. I find it a bit unfair that one of the most prominent feature detailed in the listing description requires slow process to set up and there is no information about it for the customers. No book with house instructions - to our surprise cleaning service arrived one morning and we were pretty much dragged from beds. The villa needs some attention. Some of the equipment needs renewing, e.g. we got stuck outside as the fob for the gate worked erratically and finally gave up completely.
