We escaped to the Novotel for a staycation during a heatwave. The air conditioning did not disappoint-we stayed cool, happy campers. We enjoyed the swimming pool every day of our stay. Breakfast was yummy, a typical German hotel breakfast spread. The bartenders were attentive. The room was spacious, for German standards, and quite comfortable. Sparkling clean. Comfortable beds and linens. Plenty of towels. Mini-fridge was excellent. The staff were helpful.
We paid a premium due to heatwave pricing. The breakfast buffet wasn't refilled quickly when items ran out.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen, wenn man die schöne Innenstadt besuchen möchte. Das Zimmer war recht groß, und es gab ein Bad, welches wir nicht benutzten.
Was uns besonders störte, ist der Parkplatz in der Einstellhalle. Erstens scheint die Einstellhalle öffentlich zu sein, und daher fanden wir fast keinen Platz. Zweitens ist der Parkplatz mit 21 € nicht gerade günstig. Das Tüpfelchen ist aber, dass das Hotel noch 25 € pauschal für das Laden eines E-Autos verlangt. Das ist einerseits sehr viel und zweitens überhaupt nicht transparent. Zudem gab es für das gesamte Hotel nur zwei 11kw Steckdosen welche nicht reserviert werden konnten. Parkieren und Laden waren rundum unbefriedigend.
