The resort is set in beautiful, natural gardens. Wonderful bird noises all around and we even saw monkeys playing. Everyone we met at Joy was kind and welcoming. We were looked after extremely well by efficient, happy people. The restaurant was excellent, fast service and amazing food. The beach bar was fantastic with fabulous cocktails. I can highly recommend Joy Bungalow if you are looking for a beautiful peaceful beach resort on an unspoilt island in Thailand.

The private beach The area was quiet which was a good break for 3 days. Restaurant food is very good Staff is nice and helpful
Property under renovation (almost total renovation). Beach is not clean (the staff could pick up all the garbages, glasses, etc. every day). Far from everything and feeling a bit stuck in the middle of nowhere. Cards are not taken for payment while it's written they are taking it. A bit expensive for the quality of the stay.
