A lovely hidden gem had a fantastic time.

A lovely little cottage in a nice quiet village, very clean, tidy and well presented. Had all the amenities needed for our stay. Excellent location within a reasonable drive for visiting local areas.

Only issue I had was that it was a long drive but once there was worth it.

Authentic Cornish vacation

Spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. If you like cycling and Cornish mining heritage you're in the right place. Great cycling(on and off road) just on the doorstep and right in the heart of historical tin mining with mining trails, engine houses and much much more to explore. Local hosts with a wealth of local knowledge

Perfect destination for a couples break.

Beautiful little cottage, finished to a very high standard. Exceptionally well equipped and a brilliant locations. Owner Rob and Julie were very friendly a checked in on us a couple of times to make sure that we were comfortable.

Really couldn't have faulted anything. We stayed for a week, for a longer break I would prefer to stay somewhere with laundy facilities but this wasn't an issue for us.

Perfect in every way!

Perfect location to explore Cornwall. Everything you could ever need for a mini getaway was provided which made our stay stress free. The lily pad was very clean and decorated beautifully, we will definitely be back!

Bed was very comfortable but a little bit small for someone who’s 6’4

Excellent Stay - Spotlessly Clean!

We booked The Lily Pad as a temporary place to stay between moving home. We couldn’t have asked for somewhere that was more like a home from home. It had all the facilities you could wish for and more. Very comfortable, quiet and peaceful location but within a stones throw of all local amenities. Couldn’t have asked for more. When we need to come back to the area we’ll be sure to book again and recommend it to everyone we know!

A lovely cottage in a great location. You can access all parts of the county from here ,being in a central location .The cottage is very well stocked and is looked after with care by owners. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lily Pad, and would highly recommend it.

The seating in the 'lounge' area , could have been a bit more comfy ( for our liking), The drive is fairly steep , so care is needed when going in or out but did not distract from the location.
