The Dairy Barn

The location was great for a couple like us who wanted peace and quiet as it was easily accessible from a main route but not too near the road. The property was surrounded by fields and beautiful trees and within walking distance to a town [for a keen walker!]

The swimming pool was nice but had a very old cover which was really hard work to wind up. The lighting in the house could have been better as the stairs were very dark and the only light switch for the landing was upstairs. The property could really do with a couple of outdoor folding chairs as the courtyard table was always in shade

Nice and clean property. Liked the pool and games room

Would be better to know how the pool sharing would work; felt as if we had the last choice and could only use once over 4 days

Swimming pool was an ideal wet weather activity for my autistic son

The cottage was clean and well equipped set in a sweet courtyard. Having the swimming pool was great, especially on rainy days and each cottage had one hour slot each day so you had the pool for yourself.

There was zero sound insulation between units. We could hear the family next door. We hardly slept because of their crying baby, the road traffic noise and military aircraft noise throughout the night. Plus the bed was very very hard. Not at all comfortable and we came home early because we were so tired. We came on holiday for a relaxing rest but went home exhausted and sleep deprived.. A nice location, well equipped cottage but too noisy.
