Dun Gorg Guest House

Room service breakfast was a nice touch to the stay. Very friendly and good staff, and perfect location to the sea side and attractions.

No iron available at the hotel which then made us purchase an iron. (This was stated on the website, so our own mistake).

Absolutely loved our stay, close to the Main Street and to the bus station, also has a small shop right in front of the guest house. The staff was very nice and every day we would find a piece of Maltese pastries in the room 😍

Supermarket across the street. Plenty of restaurants with 3 min walk. I felt safe.

It did not count with a microwave 😔 or an iron.

The location is ok considering is near the port and the bus station but there is also a church real close and every night from 15 to 15 minutes the bells were ringing and we could hear them real loud.

We stayed for two nights and unfortunately we did not have hot water on our arrival and not in the following days until I told the cleaning lady about the problem and she had to check it herself. She did not believe me at first. In the second night we had the same problem and I tried to talk to someone from the hotel but there was no one ever at the reception so I sent a message because the call was rejected. Nothing changed so I called again and actually threatened with a bad review in order for them to do something about the hot water. This is what made them act and solve the problem instantly. In the lobby there was a family also trying to talk to someone because they’ve made a reservation and paid for the rooms and they were told on the interfon that there was nothing available for them. The room seamed clean on a first look but the lamps were full of dust. Even the handle door was full of dust. The towels were very worn and torn! They should be changed! They weren’t even white anymore!
