Such a lovely place! From the moment you arrive at the hotel, you can immediately tell how much the manager and the staff love what they do and genuinely care about the hotel. We were completely satisfied with our stay here!
Our room had a lovely terrace with a beautiful view of the port and the city. The room itself was very clean and smelled really nice. The bed was comfortable, there was plenty of space, and the bathroom was spotless.

The room and bathroom were both very spacious and comfortable. Maria, our host, was incredibly kind and welcoming. She shared a little about her life in Malta and gave us some great recommendations for places to visit, including beaches and historical sites. We also really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which had a great variety of options and everything we needed to start the day!
There really wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the accommodation itself. The only small thing is that, based on the photos, I expected the pool to be a little bigger.
One thing that is not related to Maria or the accommodation itself is the condition of the streets around Birgu. They can be quite dirty, with a lot of bird and animal droppings, which unfortunately takes away a little from the experience of walking around the area.

The property is a short distance from the bus stops, caffès, and supermarket.
We like the quiet neighbourhood and didn’t have any difficulties to sleep during the night.
We also liked Maria, very sweet and kind host.

I cannot understate what a beautiful soul Maria is. Her warmth and style extend into the space that she’s created in her gorgeous guesthouse. The pool on the roof was a fabulous addition for our little ones, and the view was great. The morning grab and go breakfast was a surprising and welcome addition to our stay. I would come back to stay in a heartbeat.
