Why Me Eco-friendly Rooms - metro access

My experience at this place was unforgettable! The hosts were extremely gracious, polite, and accommodating. They made sure I was comfortable during my stay. The property is in a fantastic location, just a quick walk from the metro station with lots of shops around and good value restaurants and cafes. The atmosphere was extremely welcoming.

Op aanraden van mijn broer heb ik ook geboekt bij Why Me. Ik was een beetje huiverig vanwege de lokatie, maar die is gewoon perfect om alles in Tbilisi te bezoeken. De guest house ligt 200 meter van de metro af en je bent in 10 minuten in het centrum van Tbilisi. De gastvrijheid en de manier van hoe er wordt omgegaan met de gasten is heel goed. Je ziet meteen dat Rosik en Inna dit werk doen met liefde. Het is niet om geld te verdienen, maar echt uit het diepste van hun hart. Er is niets te veel gevraagd en ze vragen alleen aan hun gasten om zuinig om te gaan met energie en het afval zo veel mogelijk te scheiden. Als je meer voor de natuur wilt doen, zorg dan dat je bij Eco-friendly Why Me Tbilisi boekt!

The location wasn't bad. The use of a remote "key" to the front gate was nice. Getting picked up at the airport in the wee hours of the morning (for a fee, of course) was convenient. The hosts were both sick, so it explains why they were not very able to be upbeat and fully present.

The room was small and rather shabby. The noise level from the young male hostel dwellers conversing well into the night was a bit irritating, and their dirty dishes were left in the little sink in the small "dining area" and that was a little tough to handle. The window was no protection against noise nor the cold getting in. There are two private rooms on that second level, along with the kitchenette (a microwave and a small sink), and dining table. My room was butt up against that common area. I heard from the person staying in the other room that hers was much larger than my room. Since it was a distance away from the common area, the larger room also was more insulated from the noise .....so, it was just my bad luck that I got the inferior room. If you are thinking about getting a room there, I would find out first if it is the small one or the larger quieter one.
