Less than expected.

Location was decent. About 12 minutes to old town of Korcula. Lovely patio overlooking small secluded bay.

This apartment has the air of neglect and could be so much better with some revamping of furniture, decor and kitchen area. Superficially clean, but worn , uncomfortable couch, no real indoor dining area, no place to hang coats or sweaters by entrance door. The outdoor patio was wonderful, had a drying rack but only 2 clothes pegs. I requested more toilet paper and on departure two days later none had arrived. The shower was embarrassing, having an elastic band holding it together. The stove had no identifiable signs as to on/off direction and could have used a good scrub.The bed, although somewhat comfortable, was a sorry excuse for a bed. I recommend that the owner lives in this apartment for 4-5 days to see what is needed to improve the condition.

A pleasant enough stay

The apartment was in a great location. 10 minutes to walk into the town, which is very beautiful and interesting. The walk in is very pretty. The veranda was a great place to sit in the morning and enjoy the sunshine, and the view is very pretty. We did not go in the sea, but it would have been easy had we wanted to. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the veranda, looking out across the sea. We had a lovely warm welcome from the villa manager, who showed us the facilities and checked in on us during our stay. The laundry room was well provided and we were able to make use of it. The kitchen was fairly well fitted out with plenty of utensils, pans etc to use. The parking was easy and convenient. We enjoyed our stay overall, but some things could be improved on with a bit of investment from the owners, such as updating it.

The decor is very beige . It is tired and dated. The bathroom is very dark and dingy, and I suspect the whole building has some plumbing or drainage issues as at times it did not smell very fragrant. The shower head needs descaling as it was functioning at about 50% of its pressure. The toilet cistern is cracked. The extractor fan is noisy. The sheet on the bed had a small hole in it. The bedside lamps were dusty and one of them has a temperamental switch. The settee is a little hard to sit on but you do get used it. The kitchen bar stools have no back support. This is of course a personal preference but we did not find them particularly comfortable. The fridge runs loudly and constantly and is either old or needs topping up with gas, as it runs constantly despite being on the minimum setting (says my fridge engineer husband!)

Close to korcula town, nice bay, manager Zelijka was wonderful, very responsive. View was beautiful but obstructed with overgrown trees, not as shown on website

Close to town but the road was too narrow to walk with no sidewalks, quite dangerous and dark at night. Mattress was uncomfortable. Bathroom had a bad odour. No outlet in the bathroom. Only two bath towels for three nights between two people. Only two rolls of toilet paper. No soap or shampoo in bathroom which would be nice. Shower curtain in shower did not keep water in. Clean but very dated. No lighting on terrace outside or stairway up to apartment. Very dark at night. Other guests had access to our terrace to get to street level so it was a bit awkward.

If you have a car, it’s nice to be away from the crowds.

The location was great - we got lucky with parking . The Host was easy to reach and responded quickly.

The mattress is so awful it’s ridiculous. The television is halfway in the bedroom, halfway on an awkward angle to the couch . The kitchen was spacious but very poorly stocked with equipment, and the bathroom was terribly malodorous.

Wouldn't come back

The apartment looked great in the photos and the location seemed ideal on paper. The kitchen was well-equipped, which was appreciated. With a few upgrades to the sleeping setup, this place could be much more enjoyable

The apartment, in terms of comfort, didn’t live up to our expectations. The biggest issue was the bed, hands down the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept on. The mattress felt old and low-quality, and the pillows, although new, were so firm and bulky that I left the holiday needing a neck massage. The terrace looked great in the photos, but even the lounge chairs weren’t comfortable or inviting. As for the location, it might seem convenient on paper, but it’s only practical if you have a car. Getting there on foot felt unsafe — there’s no sidewalk, and the traffic is intense.

Beach facing excellent property

A lovely apartment located not too far from town center. A small beach right across the road. Very good staff and hosts who respond instantly. We liked it a lot, so ended up booking a few more days than initially planned. Highly recommended. They also have a private parking.

The property is beautiful and just across the street from a beautiful small beach! The balcony patio was huge with a view of the sea.

You will likely need transportation if you plan to go back and forth to KORCULA town frequently. It is a hilly 25-30 min walk.

Great location, clean and comfortable.

The location is fantastic. Steps to a lovely bay with a swimming platform that provides some shade as well. Large balcony with a table, umbrella and loungers with excellent views all day/night. East walk into the Old Town and quick drive to the large supermarkets.

While offered by the staff, we would have preferred more towels at our disposal from the get-go. Also no beach items available for use (towels, pads, umbrella, etc). No self use laundry facility. I would have liked information about location and entry instructions pushed to me well before our arrival. Also instructions not completely clear.

Nice bright apartment, location about 20 mins walk from the Old Town. Good WiFi, easy parking, and close to a nice snorkeling spot. Owners were very flexible on check in and check out times, which was appreciated.

Given the flexibility on check-in, I feel a bit mean pointing out the following, but a bit more thought and this review would have been far more positive - it could have scored 9 out of 10. Firstly, one of the two toilets was out of order when I arrived and was still not fixed when I left 5 days later. Whilst superficially the apartment looks really nice and modern, there are a number of tied-off electrical cables sticking out of the walls, it looks unfinished. The apartment could do with being better equipped, e.g. there was no iron or ironing board, no toiletries were provided other than hand soap (which was close to empty). Just a little more effort though and this place could be lovely.

Amazing seafront villa

Apartment with spacious balcony and astonishing sea view, well equiped and nicely designed. Position of the house is on walking distance to the old town of Korčula. Lovely and helpful owners and Mrs Želka that is running the Villa Jade were always there to help their guests. Area is very quiet but still so close to historical part of the town. On the scale from 1 to 10 Villa Jade scores 10+

Incredible view!

We booked very last minute due to an issue at a different apartment. They were so kind and accommodating in getting our apartment ready with short notice. They even upgraded us to a better apartment. The location is great and the terrace is amazing! We really enjoyed our stay and wanted to stay longer!

Excellent location, appartment is well setup and clean. Enough space and facilities for the whole family. (4 children and 2 adults). Zeljka who looks after the property is very kind, polite and professional. The host was flexible after the booking procedure when we had extra requisitions. Beautiful sea view from the balcony and through the windows of one bedroom and living room.

We kind of liked everything. If something might need a bit of improvement, those are the pillows as they were too high and the mattress in double beds might need replacement soon. TV had better days, too.
