Hostal Tralala Salento

Very friendly staff. Great room (we stayed in the private cabin outside so had an entire suite to ourselves), and 2 good kitchens. Excellent location, just off the main square, so very convenient. Filtered water provided and you can hire wellies for muddy hikes! Lots of recommendations of local restaurants/bars/ other businesses as well as activities.

Very minor points - the shower didn’t really get hot and it was quite noisy just because it was so central. But fine with earplugs! Just to note - they play Ave Maria at the church at 5-6am every morning which again we didn’t mind but it was very loud and would be tricky to sleep through!

Excellent hostel, everything works perfectly and location is wonderful. I even forgot my bag with my wallet and passport in the hostel after having boarded a bus to Armenia - luckily that was no issue as the lady running the show was kind enough to do everything she could for me to get them back and so she sent them to me with the next bus and I was able to continue to Bogota just an hour later! Would highly recommend staying here - they also have great recommendations on what to do in the region in general.

Good location

I got the private room, which was a room off the kitchen. It was weird to have my door open into the kitchen. Not very private. Also the overnight staff person was sleeping in the kitchen when i got home to go to sleep. The door has a gap at the bottom. It didn't feel very private for a private room. Wouldn't stay again.
